I was going to do something similar one day! Was going to get an air con vent in ten insulate the door, roof already has insulation. I have read that people who have done it say the tensioner on the garage door will need readjusting afterwards.
How much do you think your saved on heat redaction. I guess do you feel the difference when you open door.. am thinking doing same . Cheers. Your job looks good.
Thanks mate, honestly I forget it's there, it is stuck down well and I just think of it as part of the canopy now. No issues at all with it. Might remove some rubber mat at some point to save weight though
@@TheBrowneTown sounds good. I’m thinking of doing some before and after temp readings to see what difference it makes. I hear you on the rubber matting. I was surprised it weighed as much as it did.
Good video ,very handy. My suggestion that rubber matt place between canopy and tray ,no friction. Specially if you removable canopy
I've gotten rid of the rubber matting. Easier to clean without it and saved about 18kgs as well.

Great videos mate. I have a new canopy on order at the moment and am also planning to insulate. How has this stood up over the past 6 months?
