To me, Robben Ford is the best blues guitarist ever.
I don't think Robben would agree with you.
@@patrickhoulihan7210 I know that Robben Ford has no clue about what I'm thinking and feeling. So I'm wondering how you came to assuming that RF may have any idea about what I'm thinking. And even if he knew me, he would not be in the position to say "Hey Marc, I know better about your opinions and feeling than you do." Bottom line: you're talking totally thoughtless BS.
@@marcblum5348I did not say that RF knew what you were thinking. What I said was that I do not think that Robben Ford would have the opinion that he was the best blues guitarist ever.
Jimmy Witherspoon Circa i saw him live with stan Poplin on Bass and maybe His brother on Drums when they played at keystone in San Francisco. Check out the song Sunrise.. One of Robbens first outside the boundaries. I agree during that time he set and paved the way of blues inovation. A new tone with new chops. set the benchmark for decades to come.
I agree! Such excitement and sophistication in his technique.
Robben makes it look so easy ! Excellent tone ! Superb phrasing!
Just can't say enough about how good this is!!!... This is the way I like to see Robin... With a nice large band...(of course he can handle it just fine with the three man band but this really is the icing on the cake!!!
Thanks for your comment. Especially for the big band setup!
Tolle Band 🙏mit Rrobben 🎸👍
The other guitarist was brilliant as well- I keep rediscovering Robben Ford- fabulous- that’s the advantage of a bad memory:)

Wow, he gets some great sound out of that beat up Tele, those are the best ones to own ............ thanks again hr
great musicians, all play well, thanks for loading
He is the best !
Amazing!!!
No shabbiness from anyone on stage..top top performers.😀😀
The perspective that 3 brings to human intelligence is off the charts. Our tech world is based upon the sequence 2,4,8,7,5,1..........In this the sacred significance of 3 has been overlooked. Thanks Robben for a simple concise truth, with as yet unrecognized, limitless possibilities, for the intelligent future of the human race. 1+1is 2 Two+one is three. Setting aside all we have learned and or been taught is the surest act that supports the possibilities of what is not currently seen by material human intelligence.
Man, that is really good.
G-R-E-A-T. Really great...
Great recording. Robbin always Rocks
Adore you playing Blues
Good leading Robben
Having fun
Martin Scales ripped that tune in half
Superb
Super cool
Fantastic
Herrlich.
Would like to have heard it with an electric bass
Excelente🎸👍
PhD level.
Delicious
Tune is actually called "Roberta"
Puto genio
...and Martin Scales' guitar, a Sheraton (?)
Ibanez as 153...I think...
Correction: Ibanez JSM 10
@@hkrause9166 it is pretty, reminds me of one Ibanez that John Scofield plays
Is he playing through his Dumble?
No, the Dumble was only used as a stand for his water bottle
Great

This performance is the final word on why single coils sound better than humbuckers.
I was thinking the same thing. Any idea what they are?
Amazing!
