Each time I see this, it just gets better and better. Love the fact that they've gone in a different direction from the typical cardboard board. Neoprene is both unique and gives a very tactile feel. The chips just top it off. Game can't come soon enough!

Naruto San It was meant for Nov 2016 but with all the impressive updates they added to this game they had a small delay. should arrive early march for backers!

not mousepad, but similar. They are much thicker. Thicker than game mats even. They are neoprene and work really well for gaming. We should totally see more publishers using them.
I know this is an old comment at this point, but one of the designers made an amazing comment in the Too Many Bones: Undertow kickstarter comments last night. "Cardboard is for making boxes and shipping stuff... not for playing with. :)"
The art on the cards is sooo beautiful but it's not matching the rest of the game, which is weird. Like Tom Vasyl noted, the game is great but is very cheap looking because of the art, even though the components aren't cheap.
Hmm, i think this one is probably a little advanced for an 8 year old...but maybe with a little guidance it would work. Considering you're all working together anyway, there's no reason you couldn't assist in some of the difficult strategy decisions. Hard to say for me though...my oldest is only half that age :)
I love it when it's so obvious that reviewers genuinely loved a game. Thanks for this. Can't wait for this to arrive.

We know some folks sleeve cards no matter what, but the cards are made of PVC, so it's not *really* necessary :-)

We will be at GenCon, and we will be doing as many events as we have warm bodies to staff and run :-)
Quick question, with Ghillie, how many def die do you roll when attempting to level up defense when it's 0+? Awesome video!
It's an automatic success with leveling up his defense because it's at 0. No dice to roll means no chance of rolling X's and failing. Hope that helps!
