Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park March 2024 - Ep1: Kathu to Twee Rivieren & first afternoon in the park

Hi all
I was in the Kgalagadi from the 17-22 March as a belated birthday trip. March is green season in the Kgalagadi still but the lack of rain and high temperatures meant the park was looking quite dry still, with a few patches of longer grass.
A good first afternoon in the park after a long drive in.

Thanks for sharing. How do you cope with the heat when camping with a tent?

I really struggled and should have perhaps have had a fan. The first two days stayed above 32 degrees at night then the third night I think there was some rain which helped a little
