We are Jed and Sandy Hall, the creators of Wanderful Revolution. Jed was born in a small town on the Eastern Shore of Virginia and Sandy was born and raised in Maryland. We met in Washington State, while serving our country in the United States Navy. After separating from military service, we both went back to school and became nurses, which ultimately led to us selling our home in 2015 and hitting the road as travel nurses working in Emergency Departments throughout the USA.
During our travels, we lived in an Airstream travel trailer and made it our goal to become debt free. At the beginning of 2020, we paid off the last of our debts and quit our jobs so we could follow our long time dream of traveling the world. Of course, COVID-19 brought us to a screeching halt. So, we decided to build out a 2019 Mercedes Sprinter van, which we plan to drive on one of the longest road trips in the world: the Pan-American highway from Alaska to the tip Argentina (and possibly beyond).
We are excited and very fortunate to be able to live this amazing lifestyle! So, we want to share it with you! Join us to check out some amazing places, go on exciting adventures, eat delicious food, and perhaps learn some tips and tricks about living full-time in a van. A few years ago a traveling nurse took care of me at the ER, every time I take my meds I think of him, I feel that he saved my life, nothing like traveling nurses to me
I would love to travel like y’all do but I enjoy watching through y’all
I’m in eastern Ky, we just got 9 inches of snow yesterday, it was 12 degrees last nite, 45 today and gonna be 65 tomorrow, Mother Nature is either menopausal or bipolar, I’m beginning to think maybe it’s both

11 months! On average, how many hours in a week did you guys spend on the build? It looks amazing!
Thanks so much! We probably spent 30-40 hours per week actually working on the van. That doesn’t include the time we spent researching how to do things, what parts to buy, ordering parts etc.
Great build! We are putting up the framing today but basically very similar. Where did you get the shelf above the drivers seat….
