Your statement about not needing a break, rather needing to get better is something that EVERYone should take to heart. You didn't give in to frustration instead you simply got better. You are actually an inspiration and whoever is lucky enough to catch your eye will be one lucky individual.
I guess it depends on how you define a break and what is done during the break. I'll sometimes take a step back from a project and let my mind ruminate about a better way of completing a process. It usually works out for the best. Sometimes no new idea come to me (at least not without expensive tools) and I gotta just get better so I carry forward. Either way, I don't think taking a break always equate giving into frustration. Giving into frustration is quitting a project; I doubt that was ever truly in the cards for her.
I think that you being a young woman and doing all this for the most part alone is awesome ! Your parents must be so proud of how they raised you ! Enjoy your build and life ! You are an amazing young woman !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You may have bought a bus, but you built a home. You climbed learning curve after learning curve, and were brave enough to show the world how it's done. I was lucky enough to be here for most of it, and am so impressed with the drive and tenacity that you show while accomplishing your vison. Congrats, Emma!
Been with you since the beginning and have been impressed and inspired. Your mistakes have been valuable lessons and you take things in stride. You’ve become really good at figuring things out and your personality and sense of humor are wonderful. You’ve made a beautiful home. Thanks for sharing the journey. Get out there and enjoy. You’ve earned it 🩵
WOW I can remember the day you White Knuckled Driving that Bus for the first time, and All the FLASH BACKS! Wonderful! Love all your ideas, good and bad, Your Adorable and Wonderful! FULL OF SPUNK! keep going Lil Emma! You are such an Inspiration! Thank You! BE SAFE !!
This was such a great compilation, Emma -- just so impressive in how you've grown as a person and how you've build your own home!!! Amazing!!!!! And your home is so, so pretty, too. Now, forgive your Virtual Grandma, but this comes from someone who remembers cassette tapes, VCRs, and dial-up internet. Please find a way to save this video, and maybe your entire build series, so that you will be able to have it over time in a way that you can hold it in your hand. Time change, technology will advance. Who knows where TH-cam will be years from now? And your grandchildren will need to see this!!! It's an important family record as well as a testimony to a remarkable young woman who deserves so much respect!! So proud of you, Virtual Granddaughter!!! You are simply the best!!!!! God bless you. Oh, and cute boy in the black schoolie. Make sure he can cook. LOL
I remember you just showed up one day on my feed, I thought oh why not see what’s going on here. I had to go back and watch the first 2 episodes first. I kept thinking no way she can do most of this alone. Each episode you could see your confidence building, just like your home on wheels. Each week I’d think , nope, not going to work but you proved me wrong. I’ve been involved in some form of construction most of my long life. Emma, what you’ve done is amazing. You should be extremely proud of yourself. The build was great, but your personality is mostly what kept me watching every week. Why you don’t have more followers is beyond me. Safe travels.
I forgot about all the wasps, and how tiny the dog was for a short while lol. Back when I was giving all sorts of building advice even though I knew by the time you saw it you had already figured it out. I knew you had it when you cut that floor piece out correctly. Great to be here on the journey with you, thanks for sharing it.
So many memories! I remember all of them because I and many others were there with you(virtually)! Let's see what kind of trouble you can get into next LOL!!
There is so much I want to say. I had forgotten I have been following you since the beginning - when you bought your bus. Wow!! A long time. Also I love how far you have came in your skills. Wow. Watching the first part and seeing you struggle to the last as you just know what to do. I love watching you and look forward to more. Xoxo
It's been great following you from the day you got the bus Emma, videos like this show you how much blimmin work you've done...you've done great and the bus is looking fab 👌
Been watching since nearly the beginning of this journey, it's been quite the ride. Proud of how far you've come Emma, many others might have given up but you've stuck with it. Here's to the journey still to come.
so so so inspiring!!!! I am a really prepared person and have been waiting to do this because I don't feel like I have enough knowledge... seeing you do this and just own it really made me feel like I have permission.
I've been watching you for 2 years now and it's amazing how you've grown more confident and how wonderful your bus has turned out Emma. You've done so well and I've loved watching you the whole way.
I've been watching since the beginning and I still look forward to each video. Thank you for taking us on your adventure. I use your videos to inspire all the women I know.
❤ this shows YOU how much of a CHAMPION you are. This is something to be PROUD OF. You rock, Emma, keep on going, keep bringing us travel videos now. We'll done!❤
Emma, I've been watching your videos since day 1 and I've been enjoying them every step of the way. I love your tenacity and motivation so much, it is truly inspiring! I love watching how you took your mistakes and are learning from them and you've gotten better and better at scribing and other stuff as well. Now it's time to just sit back and enjoy the bus!
Emma I’m so proud of you. Your bus/home looks great. I’m almost sad the build is finished. I’ve looked so forward every week all these months to see what you were doing next. I hope you continue doing your videos and find another project to do. Maybe a tiny house somewhere. 😉Whatever you do just continue with your videos. Have a great 4th of July. 🎆🎇🧨🇺🇸
@@EmmaBuildsBirbie I love to see strong women make their mark on this world and you’re doing just that. Another thing, you have a GREAT voice. Have you ever thought singing professionally ? ( and you’re very funny) You have a lot of good qualities. Have a good week Emma. ❤️🧨🇺🇸
Great time lapse. Your exuberant sense of accomplishment and joy, in the last video, stuck with me. Amazing seeing how happy Birbie makes you ! Congrats. Keep up the awesome work
It sure brings back memories Emma. All the good times you gave us the last years. And still give that’s the best part 😝. Enjoy your trip. Greetings from 🇳🇱.
At about the 6:55 time marker you said "What have I done" Well I might say you have done an Absolutely Wonderful job, sure it took time and you had wonderful help and idle time to get those creative juices flowing but BIRBIE has emerged. I bet if you put seats back in the bus everyone would rather ride on your bus than an orangie-yellow behemoth. Great Job Thanks for sharing and safe travels.
Great job, 😊and I've watched nearly all of it! Can't wait to see what's to come next! Have fun, and this Grandma sends lots of love, and I am so proud of all your hard work!
I watched the video, I think You did a great job. I have also learned to never tell a person they can not do a job, I let them do it because it brings out there creative side that they did not knew they had. You did a great job and should be very proud of it.
Been following since month 2. It’s been an inspiration to us as we build our bus but the most enjoyable part has been watching you and your confidence grow. ☺️
Thank you so much for all the Friday nights!!!!! I had just started living in my Van again and your vlogs brought so much comfort to the process. I wasn't building shit but watching your transformation gave me confidence to rise to my own challenge. I'm so glad you shared it all! BLESSED ✌🏻
This video is incredible. YOU made this home. As well as filming it for two years and then putting this comp together. I hope I see you on the road some time.
What a journey!! When I first found your channel, I thought I had some advice to offer here and there. Now I think you can advise me on bus building!!😂
What a beautiful job! You should feel very proud that you did this!!! I wish I had done this when I was your age :) Go enjoy yourself and always be careful!
I always underestimate these bus conversions to be 6 months or so. Prob false confidence in my skills with carpentry, plumbing, electrical and mechanicals - but seriously, 2.5 years makes sense and is a reasonable timeline for most. The experience was clearly life changing for you - as it would be for anybody. Too bad more young people can’t afford this kind of project, as it would be great for personal development across the board. Maybe it should be a high school course?
Im knew to the channel, I have to just say I've watched a lot of home building vans and bus, acutal homes ect, though it has never been as satisfying as watching you complete that all by yourself and it turned out beautiful and fantastic ❤ i loved it
