Brian Johnson the lead singer was 63, Angus Young the lead guitarist was 55 and the rest of the boys were in their 50’s!!! Legendary is all I can say. These Argentina fans are the best on the planet and they appreciate good hard driving rock and roll. Just look at all the different ages in the crowd. It transcends generations. Unbelievable!! To be honest...AC/DC may very well be the best live act in the history of music. They play absolutely flawlessly, and Brian's vocals are always on point. Angus Young....what can we say about him. Incredible guitar player and probably the best performing lead guitar of all time. They are the standard that all musical performances should be held to...and to be honest, nobody, and I mean NOBODY today comes even remotely close.

    • @diegrinder6851
      @diegrinder6851 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Malcom Young though, he's always been the real artistic genius and he's the dynamo in the back driving the entire sound. Everyone kinda forgets because Brian and Angus are up front doing their jobs to draw all the attention; but Malcom is the little guy in the back often overshadowed by his own guitar, that is the true driving force behind every song. Malcom is laying down the rhythm that controls it all, that the others (including the massive audience) is all feeding off of. Every single song that AC/DC ever wrote, recorded or performed was being controlled by little head banging Malcom in the back, his tempo, his energy and his direction on every single song. The little beating heart of a giant beast.

    Beautiful voices singing masterfully crafted songs are wonderful to watch, but there is nothing like some hard driving rock and roll with a live audience that's into it. Can you imagine the rush being there?. This was "pretty".awesome. Also one of your best reactions because of the obvious excitement you had.

    I saw on CNN once that if album charts were based on sales and nothing else then AC/DC would have had the number one album since the early 90s with Back in Black. It sells that many copies every week.

    Um, Ray, 'they know what's going on'... Pretty much every single ACDC fan knows the whole catalogue by heart.
    And we'd probably sell out a 50,000 seat stadium so WE could sing THEIR stuff to THEM, that's how much we love them.
    Also, may I suggest Rammstein Live In Paris, 'Du Hast'. It's legitimately no-crap EPIC

    Brian Johnson (vocals) is older than the other members of AC/DC (He was the same age as the previous singer Bon Scott)... He had been singing in Newcastle, UK since the late 60's and formed the band Geordie in the 70's, which released 3 records before breaking up in 1976.
    When Bon Scott passed away in early 1980, Brian Johnson was destitute, working in a factory and trying to get gigs for a new version of Geordie... He got a call from an AC/DC staffer about auditioning for the band. He never thought he would be picked, but he was a fan of their music, and he clicked w/ the band right away... So, he joined the band by April 1980. He's been their vocalist since... However, in 2016, a hearing issue resulted in him being replaced on tour by Guns N' Roses singer Axl Rose.
    However, Brian Johnson did sing on their last studio album 'Power Up' in 2020.
    Brian Johnson's singing style was made for AC/DC... he can sing in a clean voice too! But AC/DC's music demanded a certain screech... and he delivered that style of rock vocals like Little Richard-meets-Robert Plant...

    I saw them live for the "For Those About To Rock" tour back in the 80's, absolutely amazing show and as loud as you could handle. Brian Johnson did have some voice strain issue I think around 2013 and had to take a little break. RIP Malcolm.

      I saw them on that tour too! They were great, of course, but the most memorable thing from that concert was Leslie West joining opening act BTO (!) for their encore, doing Mississippi Queen. What a show!

    Oldies but definitely goodies.
    I recently heard an instrumental cover of this song, played on Guzheng (traditional chinese instrument) by Moyun (@Moyun Official). Different flavor but good nonetheless. This one is like raging storm, and the instrumental cover is like calming evening drizzle. Would love to see your your reaction on the cover.
