It’s called music kid. When musicians got to be famous because they were outstanding musicians and loaded up with raw talent. I grew up in Melbourne, in Australia, in the ‘70’s, when Bon Scott was the lead singer..and Angus and Bon together was simply magic. Long Way To The Top video, filmed in my home city on the back of a truck, with the only man who could make bagpipes cool, is still one of the best things ever. Brian did a masterful and respectful job stepping into Bon’s shoes. Nobody could ever replace the Legend, and Brian never tried to..but he has a powerful set of pipes, could do those songs justice, and Bon would have wanted Angus, and Malcolm, not to stop because of him. Cheers 🇦🇺🐨🦘
The story goes that AC/DC were in a bar having a few beers and listening to a band and Bon told the rest of the band "If I die, I want that singer to take over from me." And that is exactly what happened. Brian was Bon's choice for his replacement.
@@spacecadet35 that is true. Bon was very aware of Brian, and admired him. They did meet once, but Brian was bigger than Bon at the time and doesn’t recall having met him. He was Bon’s choice really. Maybe that’s why it worked!
AC/DC have been rocking the world since the 70s this concert at the River Platte Stadium in 2009 was a return to Argentina after a 14 year absence. They had 200,000 people attend over 3 nights young people today have no idea how big these guys actually were.
Perdón por escribir en español, no me manejo bien con el inglés. Querés sorprenderte más todavía? Escucha a Queen. Probablemente conozcas la película La rapsodia bohemia. Pero no a la banda y sus canciones. Creo que te vas a sorprender más. Un abrazo desde Argentina
Three of their songs have reach over 1 billion streams on Spotify alone with other songs reaching over 100 million. It's safe to say the younger generation definitely know
That show was the best! I was there in the second night with my wife and six friend from high-school. I been a fan since the late eighties. Greetings from Buenos Aires Argentina!
What's more, is that Brian had already had a career in music and hung it up, he was working on cars as a mechanic in his shop when Bon died and he got the call to audition, he was like 32. So he was already a man grown BEFORE he started. I say all that because lots of times when people break big, they're basically children, so you record an album at 18yrs old and then try to sing the same way when you're 60 it doesn't work. Whereas with Brian, like I said he was already a grown man when he recorded his first tracks with AC/DC.
As an Aussie it's my honour to tell you who Angus Young is. He's a massive legend on guitar and yes, he is indeed in a similar outfit...his school uniform. When AC/DC started out jamming then Angus was still in school and would turn up to practice in uniform. As such, he's worn it ever since when playing and we bloody love him for it.
Angus Young is a beast, a truly legend. He’s in the top ten list of the best guitar players of all time. He could play the guitar falling down the stairs, backwards, and not miss a single note! Fun fact, in his private live he’s a very calm dude, drinking Earl Grey Tea and loving chocolate. It’s like he’s saving all the energy to let it out on stage. I saw them live several times over the years, and they deliver every time ❤
Angus is pretty special! Although there is the urban legend where during an interview with Angus years ago he was asked 'how does it feel being one of the best guitarists in the world'? Angus apparently replied 'I don't know, I'm not even the best guitarist in the band'. He's even supposedly said 'Malcom could play all of my parts, but I can't play all of his'. Malcolm (RIP) would have been one of the best rhythm guitarists of all time.

AC/DC deserves every accolade and dollar as they earned them. 41 years of being one of the hardest working bands in the world. When you kids see these huge, enormous stadiums with AC/DC making millions you don't understand that they played at the smallest bars, crappiest venues in UK, years and years on the road living in hotel rooms and buses for years not making much money. They outplayed and outsurvived 99%, truly, of ever other band that started in 1973, most bands are lucky to last 5 years. AC/DC, the brothers, WOW not big guys in physique but guys with huge big brass musical cojones! Long Live Malcom Long Live Angus. I hope their music is still listened to in a thousand years

AC/DC waas formed 1973. By the time of this concert, the guys were heading to their 60s. Still they rock tour socks off! Nearly 200,000 fans (over 3 sold-out nights) attended the Riverplate concerts 2009 and I bet the audience left their mark on the Richterschale those nights. What an epic performance!
My first concert ever - I was so confused and dizzy. Angus popping up right in front of me in the middle of the crowd and acting like a lunatic - I didn’t know what the hell was going on- Rosie doll - huge bell - how the hell Could I carry on
I went to this concert 😊 What’s really cool about AC/DC live is that they still play all the classic songs, and have all the old stage props…the jailhouse backdrop from ‘74 Jailbreak, the bells from Hells Bells, the cannon from For Those About to Rock
When 'thunderstruck' hits and you see that view from the back of the crowd, as the crowd is jumping in sync, it's actually rocking the whole stadium and shaking the camera.
Yes, the Argentina crowed was one of the best that I've seen this century, maybe the best. They knew every single song and they were shaking the place from start to finish. 150% electric atmosphere they created.
One of the greatest bands ever. No bullshit voice overs, or mixes. Just simple rhythm, lead, bass, and drums, with a voice that growls. Then they just crank the volume past 10 and you have best rock n roll ever.
ACDC never forgot their roots. Thats why Aussies love them so much. Scotland, England where ever their roots were. They never fail to come back to where it started.
I was fortunate to go to one of these concerts when they were touring in 2009, man they were rocking the stage like they still in their heyday, Angus was the crowd fave. There pyrotechnics was elite, the crowd and the energy was fire, this is another legendary band, all thier songs are lit. ✌
I first heard Angus play this riff on my black Ibanez guitar on January 3rd 1989. He said that they were gonna turn it into a song after his holiday, where I met him (Hayman Island). A blessing which I will never forget. Nicest guy in the world. He and Ellen were so generous with their time.
The reason why tian Johnson sounds the same in the studio and live on stage is he has a true vocal talent. He doest need any type of computer voice enhancement. This is the biggest difference in bands before the late 90s. Most of today’s vocalists would have starved if they tired to sing without auto tune.
Having followed this band since 1976, Brians voice , since 1980 has changed slightly. If you ever want to see the man who taught Malcolm and Angus to play, take a look at the 60's group The Easybeats song Friday on my Mind. Their lead guitar was also a Young. He taught the " little ones " how to play , R.I.P. Malcolm. R.I.P. Bon Scott. ( Died in 1980 ) we miss both of you,
This song made a comeback as workout music. We have a little group who works out together outdoors on Sundays and the very last thing we do is this song. Everyone in a big circle and every time he says “thunderstruck” we have to do a burpee. People do this all over the country. 😊
The singer is now 76 years old and is one of the nicest people you could ever meet. If you see him at a pub, sit with him, have a beer, and just be yourself!
AC/DC concerts was crazy. I still have hearing damage from 80's. The song For Those About to Rock had actual cannons. Amplified cannons are very loud. It was awesome.
When you go to an ACDC concert you become a part of their tribe! ❤😊 And they were old here! And young people still feeling it!'An iconic audience also! ❤
You should be 70 like me in London where in The 1960s London was the World Centre for Music, Theatre, Film Industry, Fashion, and Photography and all the Top Bands started when I first went to Gigs around 1970/71 like Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Yes, Cream, Genesis and a multitude of others. Pik Floyd @ Earls Court with 18,000 others.Led Zep @Wembley Arena and Deep Purple and the following week: Creedence Clearwater Revival both at The Royal Albert Hall so 4 World Class Groups at 3 World Venues and the total cost?? TWO POUNDS and 25 PENCE or THREE DOLLARS (£1+75P+25P+25P) lol
I saw AC DC live in Munich many years ago, and the crowd was just unbelievable. I have seen many of the greatest bands ever, live on stage but AC DC is a totally different experience. The energy and crowd participation transcends anything I have ever experienced before.
Angus Young is playing guitar in the school uniform, and although many dont realise, his brother Malcom is on rythum guitar and plays the background rift through the entire song without missing a beat
Angus has repeatedly said (and tons of pro guitar players agree....) that Malcolm was the better guitar player of the two and the musical backbone of the band.
@@jemogan But Angus is the showman and that went a long way to the success of AC/DC. A lot of people went to the concerts to see Angus perform and to listen to Malcolm perform. Thats the hook.
I discovered you relatively recently and I saw that you entered the music of my youth (starting with 1970) I see that you like it and I'm glad. That's all I can tell you. WE MADE OUR MUSIC...
"Whole Lot of Rosie" at River Plate. A classic. Angus on guitar is the brother to the other guitarist, Malcolm Young. And Angus does not use any effects, just amps & his Gibson SG guitar. That's real talent right there.
Here is a list that you should try (in any order): -Let There be Rock - official video or Live at Apollo Theatre - (with Bon) -Whole Lotta Rosie (Live at River Plate) - (With Brian) -TNT (Live at River Plate) - (with Brian) -Riff Raff Live at Apollo Theatre - (with Bon) - The Jack Live at River Plate - (with Brian) - Its a Long Way to The Top (If you wanna Rock n Roll) - (with Bon) - Thunderstruck - Live at Donington - (with Brian) -For Thouse About to Rock - Live at River Plate (is The Last song from the concert)
Love the audiences pulsating heartbeat thru this song is incredible. Not many bands get this kind of response at the same time. So the Main riff on the guitar is something Angus did as practice and I guess it sounded so good and catchy it just became this Beast of a song. and the way they all sound so perfect is practice practice practice. And muscle memory kicks in and Bam always hitting it out the park.
This song is forever in my mind as a love-hate situation because we had it at one of my mma workouts and we were shadowboxing but had to do a burpy every time "thunder" were sung...
@@stevegraham3817 nothing in the eyes of the trainer but I still feel that it's something else when you think "can we please start sparring?" :'D ....great song though. It makes you think you can run through walls.
@@Damalatorian It was definitely not 'nothing' in the eyes of the trainer, he knew exactly the torture he was putting you through, and he knew exactly what the music would do for you too. I had to skip the song when I was driving back in the day because I realised what it was doing to me, and the cops don't like it when you accidently do twice the speed limit because you too absorbed in a song. lol. Luckily I didn't get caught.
That man playing the guitar is one Angus Young!!!!!! I had the wonderful opportunity to attend the AC/DC concert in Melbourne about 8-10 years ago. Interesting to see the audience was either older fans (50+ years) or older fans and their families. If you ever get a change to go to an AC/DC concert do it, an experience for once in your life. Grüße aus Australien. Tschüss.
I saw them a few years before Bon Scott passed then again with Bryan Johnson. The energy in the building was crazy ,saw them at two different concert halls ..amazing
Ac DC don’t make songs, they make anthems. They are repetitive, energetic, and memorable. If you liked what you saw till now, let me assure you that this probably isn’t even in their top 5. Fr You should check out the following: Highway to Hell Back in Black Whole Lotta Rosie Shoot to Thrill TNT Hells Bells You won’t regret it
My friends and I have been to every Melbourne AC/DC concert since the early 90s and every concert felt better than the last. Yes the atmosphere at an AC/DC concert is something you have to experience to believe. The guys are pretty old now so we won’t be seeing them around for too much longer but at least I’ve had the privilege of seeing them live. One of the all time greats of music, not just rock.
That was 15 years,I went to see them in Ireland last Saturday night, still rocking to full sports arenas,50 years on the road, rock and roll royalty right in front of you kid.
Not too shabby for a bunch of old dudes!!!!! AC/DC played 3 straight nights at River Plate in Dec 2009 to a total of 220,000+ ppl so says their official web site so that’s 73,000+ a night!!!!! Brian Johnson the lead singer was 63, Angus Young the lead guitarist was 55 and the rest of the boys were in their 50’s!!! Legendary is all I can say. These Argentina fans are the best on the planet and they appreciate good hard driving rock and roll. Just look at all the different ages in the crowd. It transcends generations. Unbelievable!! So says Austin Tx!!!! 🤣🤣🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸😍😍😍🥳🥳😎😎🍸
I saw AC/DC for their "Razor's Edge" tour. The sound in the auditorium, the psychic energy pouring out of the audience and flowing at the band, it was amazing. You could FEEL the music in a way I don't usually see at shows. Yes, Angus looks like that for YEARS.
Bon Scott of AC/DC, before his death, heard Brian singing with Geordie and heard him screaming and falling on the floor and thought he was great. He didn't know Brian's appendix had burst and he was screaming in pain.
Once you got "IT" you always got "IT" no matter how old you get!!! The meaning of "IT" is: Genius, Talent, Swag, Energy (playing off your group, off of the audience) Desire to continue to entertain, have FUN!!! 🎸🎤
This is almost 20 years after the version of 1990 in Sydney that you saw the other day, these guys have been belting them out since 1973. In Australia they are known as Acca Dacca . The Guitarist are Malcom and Angus young part of the famous family their older brother George Young hit the big time with the Australian band the Easy Beats in 1965 many Australian artist had their music written by Vanda and Young . How about we go back to the 1970's with Highway To Hell featuring former front man Bon Scott who died in FEB 1980 th-cam.com/video/l482T0yNkeo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=154gy9xIF2oUCdSu
I had the absolute pleasure of seeing them on their Black Ice tour in Sydney. Absolutely brilliant. These guys gave 110% for almost two hours straight. No breaks. They just kept going!
I saw them in concert back when we had the Omni in Atlanta Georgia. Loud and fun, something that I will never forget.. I took my cousin and it was his first concert. I wish I had ALL of the money I spent on concert's tee-shirt's and rock magazines. LOL eighties and some seventies were the BEST.....
I was in middle school when this came out.. still love to this day at 56 yrs old.. this is great music... and I love pretty much all genres.. don't mess with AC/DC...If this concert was 2009.. we're talking 30 yrs after it came out.. and the crowd LOVED IT !!! I got to see them one time back in the day.. better live
I just find it outstanding that young people are on the trail of all this brilliant music from the past through the TH-cam medium and specifically reaction videos. it is amazing to see people reacting to songs that have basically been in my life for as long as I can remember, but to see them Here experienci gngthe videos in real-time and to know that the sheer quality of that music sells itself as soon as someone is exposed to it properly. They pretty much have a new fanbase in the next generation period especially bands like rush and sabbath. , maiden...etc. bands that are undeniably great.
Nice to see a reactor actually take a suggestion from the comments. Your the first i have seen. AC/DC just started their new tour. React to Hells Bells live from River Plate!
I got to see them that same year in Sunrise, FL. I've been to other great shows, but that AC/DC concert is still the most kick ass, face melting fucking amazing live show experience.
Its a goosebump on steroids holy crap moment. I took my kids in 2009, Detroit mich. It was a mama and son's bonding experience. We will never forget 🌎☮️😁
I have a story about this song. I was at the AC/DC concert in St.Paul, MN back in the late '80s and was just off to the right of the stage in the section just above the floor level -really exclellent seats. This song was the closer and they had an actual friggen CANNON on the stage and at the end of this song they lit that sucker off and I literally went completely deaf for 3 hours afterwards. I was crying my eyes out on the drive home because I could see people's mouths moving but couldn't hear anything and for that entire time until my hearing came back I thought I was going to have to sue them for causing me to go deaf!!! Great show though so glad I went to it!!! Look at that enourmous crowd in this video - shows how much they're loved!!!
Simply the greatest live band in the world seen them 30 times over the years with more to come this year .Never fallen below a 8.5 /10 .No real gimmicks
" That man, right there, can play the mother f@ckin guitar..." yup..certainly can! 😂 what a wholesome reaction!! Excellent rock choice for a "beginner". As a rocker it fascinates me watching the mixing on the decks live in hip hop. Music is just awesome in any genre. Nice reaction video mate!
I went to this concert tour. It was... amazing. When I was there , Angus (the guitar player) disappeared from onstage... then lights came on back of house with him on an elevated platform continuing his solo
Saw them in Glasgow 1976…….saw them countless times times since……you get the SG out…..4/5 chords….man…and you are there….awesome…..from an old retiree…..
I am so happy you love it soooo happy good taste young man!!!!!! Great reaction!!! It's Angus Young never had the pleasure or the honor of watching him play in concert

Malcolm. R.I.P. Bon Scott. ( Died in 1980 ) we miss both of you,
I don't think you could comprehend the anger that Gen x has pent up.
There is no greater band to party with than these guys. They are awesome ! xx
When a grandpa rocks better than younger generations.
Brian will probably buy you the beer too 😉
You're doing great!! Keep up the wonderful reactions! ❤🎉
AC/DC concerts was crazy. I still have hearing damage from 80's. The song For Those About to Rock had actual cannons. Amplified cannons are very loud. It was awesome.
I’ve been to a ton of concerts, seeing AC/DC at least twice, and they put on one of the best shows ever! Legends! RIP Malcom Young 🔥🤘🏼
Rock and Roll will never die! 🤘
When you go to an ACDC concert you become a part of their tribe! ❤😊 And they were old here! And young people still feeling it!'An iconic audience also! ❤
57 years old,we had everything, glam rock, punk, metal, motown, northern soul, new romantic, the lot. We were spoilt
Angus is the lightning, Malcolm is the thunder.
Angus has repeatedly said (and tons of pro guitar players agree....) that Malcolm was the better guitar player of the two and the musical backbone of the band.
@@jemoganbest rhythm guitarist ever
@@jemogan But Angus is the showman and that went a long way to the success of AC/DC. A lot of people went to the concerts to see Angus perform and to listen to Malcolm perform. Thats the hook.
Unfortunately, Malcom passed away a few years back.
Im in my 60s, total headbanger since i was 9, i love seeing young folk discover metal, keeps the movement going
Here is a list that you should try (in any order):
-Let There be Rock - official video or Live at Apollo Theatre - (with Bon)
-Whole Lotta Rosie (Live at River Plate) - (With Brian)
-TNT (Live at River Plate) - (with Brian)
-Riff Raff Live at Apollo Theatre - (with Bon)
- The Jack Live at River Plate - (with Brian)
- Its a Long Way to The Top (If you wanna Rock n Roll) - (with Bon)
- Thunderstruck - Live at Donington - (with Brian)
-For Thouse About to Rock - Live at River Plate (is The Last song from the concert)
Dude you just got another subscriber. This is the music of my youth. Saw them live twice in the 80’s. Love watching young people hearing the old rock!
Great Band! Great Track! Great Reaction!!!! Thank You so Much ✌ Subbed and Thumbed ✌✌✌ 🇦🇺
Thanks for the sub!
Don't forget there is also nearly 20 years between performances, dudes are in their 60s this time around.
Glad to say that I was there for day 2… it was one of the best live concert experiences I ever had. They were phenomenal!
This song is forever in my mind as a love-hate situation because we had it at one of my mma workouts and we were shadowboxing but had to do a burpy every time "thunder" were sung...
What's wrong with 186 burpees in 4 minutes.? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@stevegraham3817 I feel that the cops would have let you go anyways if you saod what song you were listening to with a "ok I understand" ^^
@@Damalatorian lol, yeah and given a warning to play something softer like Let There Be Rock, or She Shook Me All Night Long. lol🤣
Tschüss.
The next song you need to do from this concert is Whole Lotta Rosie! Rockin' performance!
Fr
You should check out the following:
Highway to Hell
Back in Black
Whole Lotta Rosie
Shoot to Thrill
TNT
Hells Bells
You won’t regret it
My friends and I have been to every Melbourne AC/DC concert since the early 90s and every concert felt better than the last. Yes the atmosphere at an AC/DC concert is something you have to experience to believe. The guys are pretty old now so we won’t be seeing them around for too much longer but at least I’ve had the privilege of seeing them live. One of the all time greats of music, not just rock.
Esto es Argentina, el mejor público del mundo. Busca y mira Best Crowd Ever - El mejor público del mundo
That was 15 years,I went to see them in Ireland last Saturday night, still rocking to full sports arenas,50 years on the road, rock and roll royalty right in front of you kid.
THAT IS THE ARGENTINIAN CROWD, LOOK DE VIDEO "ARGENTINA BEST CROWD EVER", ALL THE ROCKS BAND SAY IT, SALUDOS DESDE ARGENTINA
When I feel down or a little unwell, AC/DC are one of 2 bands that always make me feel better listening to their music.
You never learn
I saw AC/DC for their "Razor's Edge" tour. The sound in the auditorium, the psychic energy pouring out of the audience and flowing at the band, it was amazing. You could FEEL the music in a way I don't usually see at shows. Yes, Angus looks like that for YEARS.
"looks like a wave.............." best description of that crowd !!
I love this! The crowd gets to singing and jumping in sync and they lift the f*cking roof right off! And Angus as usual rocks! Great!
I got to see them one time back in the day.. better live
These artists transcend time, some still tour after 40-50 yrs. And popular as ever. I seriously doubt if any of the bands today would last that long.
Love your JAW DROP when the crown turns to ocean waves...
Nice to see a reactor actually take a suggestion from the comments. Your the first i have seen. AC/DC just started their new tour. React to Hells Bells live from River Plate!
I'm off to see them this year and I'm 65 now , first saw them in 1979 and stilll hooked 😂 and they still pack out stadiums even today
Growing up in LA in the 70s and 80s I got to see a lot of bands. How I miss those days we had a blast.
Saw them in Dublin a couple of weeks ago. Still sounding great. What a performance they put in.
I was there. I cant explain how that was. Th e best concert I ve been in my life ....
Seen them live awesome to be there, AC/DC Rock's 🎸🎸🎸🎤🥁🔥🔥🔥🤘😆🤘
Awesome. Still remember my 5 male cousins blasting ACDC full Boar back in mid 70s! The whole street could here it lol!
Molly boy, I’ve learned over the years that there are great songs in every genre’ of music you just have to have the patience to listen
Exactly. Eclectic tastes.
nothing shows more clearly which artists are real and which are just another product of the music business than a live performance. ❤
You should consider watching the entire concert--the energy is amazing. They are hard core rock.
Probably the nicest comment I’ve had on this video! I’m glad you enjoyed it 🤘🏻
Best rock band ever. Seen them 4 times and no other band comes close to their live performances 🤘🤘
If you enjoyed that you need to watch Cold Chisel Bow River live in the round. Guitar heaven
Went to many of their early concerts in the mid 1970's....still have all their autographs!
One of.DAMNED best shows I've ever seen... THREE TIMES in Denver. 1990,2009, 2016 ❤❤
That's Angus's look... the school boy and the 'duck walk.
Angus is my favorite .... guy can rock it
I am so happy you love it soooo happy good taste young man!!!!!! Great reaction!!! It's Angus Young never had the pleasure or the honor of watching him play in concert
Now you know what rock and roll is all about. The best concert I 've ever been.
