Thanks for this interview. I grew up gay in the 1980s in the Christian south. It wasn’t until very recently that I shed all of that. I came out when I was 19 and part of the gay rights movement in the 90s, but we didn't have role models that I can think of, not queer ones. Part of me wishes I was 21 again experiencing role models like the two of you and enjoying an artist like NasX as a generational peer. But this interview had me laughing the video rocked my world. And between the two of you I feel connected affirmed and vicariously young again; and of course proud to be gay

I think he's commenting on the duality of the "morality" of his sensuality nature while embracing it. The snake, the angel, the part where he is chained and the devil. It's almost like his commenting on how being gay is a "sin" yet at the same time it's who he is and he's embracing it. I think he's commenting on the duality of the "morality" of his sensuality nature while embracing it. The snake, the angel, the part where he is chained and the devil. It's almost like his commenting on how being gay is a "sin" yet at the same time it's who he is and he's embracing it. First while young and innocent he was tempted by the snake from the tree like Adam and eve. His sexual nature was the forbidden fruit and he tried to run but the temptation caught up with him. Then he is persecuted and chained down wanting to break free, almost like society and his self tried to lock it away. He breaks free and almost ascends to the heaven so maybe he tried to not be gay, to hide his sexuakity and was freed but the temptation always remained and he just said fuck it and fell to hell where the "sinners go". Here he's playing and taunting the devil or aka his sexuakity before destroying the evil embodiment of it and becoming it himself. So essentially he is owning his sexuakity regardless of what anyone thinks including his own negative thoughts he once had about it and regardless if it's a "sin".
