Just came Hine fron there today great weather pretty busy but at the west end more quieter if it's gonna be a nice day get there early like 10 in the morning it will very fast fill up parking
All great tips! I assume you're talking about Burlington Beach specifically? There were 17 in the video so want to make sure anyone reading your comment knows which beach you're referring to ☺️
It's tested frequently by the City to ensure it's safe enough for swimming... you'll find many people there most weekends. Just don't go swimming after heavy rainfall as that's when the levels are most likely to be off & I do not recommend drinking the water.
I start a conversation with them & gently inform them that the bread they are feeding is actually hurting the wildlife. If they challenge the fact, I let them know there are signs posted but don't argue with them. A friendly, "You can google it if you don't believe me" will usually get the point across. It's all about being friendly & not reprimanding since most people are not there to intentionally hurt the ecosystem.
Public park spaces do not allow smoking - but there are definitely people who do. If you are respectful of the other people around you & walk away from kids, you will likely be fine. In conservation areas there is absolutely no smoking & no littering so if you sneak one, please do not leave any debris (packaging, butt of the joint, etc)
How are they already teenagers?! They would likely have a blast! We saw lots of older kids as well as younger kids. You're required to wear a lifejacket (bring your own or rent on site) & they have lifeguards so you can relax on the shore, or join in the fun!
Good job 👍👍I subscribe
Thanks so much for watching! Glad you enjoyed & decided to subscribe- really appreciate it! ☺️

Thank you! Appreciate you watching & taking the time to comment 😊
I didn’t think Burlington beach water was clean enough. Isn’t Lake Ontario polluted especially in that area?

What if you see someone feeding the wildlife? Is there any authority to report or just give a hint to the person?

Is it allowed to smoke weed on the beach

Definitely a few I still need to check out! Would Emerald Lake work for my teenagers? (Can you believe they are all teenagers now?? 🫨)
