Agreed! I was lucky enough to be here for high school way back in the day & it just keeps growing but somehow maintains that charm 🥰 Thanks so much for watching Matthew! 🙏
My pleasure! Thanks for watching & yes you're so right -- Bronte Creek is a total favourite of ours! Can't wait to go back when the leaves are changing colour 🍂💛
Yup - Oakville is beautiful but outside my budget when we were looking. Luckily we had you to help us find our perfect home in Burlington for a bit cheaper 😅
It's a pretty big difference considering they are both a part of Halton Region! But you & the family found an amazing home -- So happy you're happy there!! 🥰
Thank you 🙏 It’s a labour of love but there is so much to share & I always want to share the facts vs. opinions so people can have all of the information to make decisions 😊
As a born and raised Bronte resident it isn't the neighborhood it used to be when I was a kid... to be fair I'm 22 but either way it has changed a lot and we used to have a nice Mall in Bronte called the Bronte Village Mall which is now a ugly high-rise and a lot of the restaurants are closing or have closed to become high-rises.. with that being said the best part of Bronte in my opinion is the Bronte Legion. We also have a boat downtown which we absolutely love at the Oakville Power Boat Club
It can be all over the place in terms of cost - from $900 for a basement apartment to $2000+ for a luxury unit . The rental market is competitive but thankfully the market is starting to balance out & you should be able to find something 😊
Hi Srikant - thanks for watching & taking the time to comment 😊 Palermo was a village located around present-day Dundas St + Bronte Rd. It's labelled as the neighbourhood name on google maps, but locally & for many many years, it is called Bronte Creek. This area was mostly farmland until the last decade & as such most homes are newer builds. They tend to have good-sized lots for detached homes & lots of town options as well. The schools are newer in this area & it has some of the best trailheads in Oakville! Add in that it has some lovely parks/playgrounds & it's a great neighbourhood for families as well as quick access to 407, QEW & Bronte GO Station. Do be aware that the Halton Police headquarters is on Bronte Rd just north of the highway, so take your time & don't speed 🙌
Absolutely!! I’m sorry that there are racist people everywhere & that you’re forced to deal with it - but that said, there is absolutely a diverse community of backgrounds in Oakville. Most of the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) is multicultural & while there is still some underlying racism, the vast majority of people here would not tolerate it & would stand up for their neighbour if someone was being mistreated.
Oakville is such a beautiful place to live! Great video Rochelle! 🔥

What about jobs in Oakville?
There are lots, but many people commute to a GTA area job or work from home.
Are blacks accepted in Oakville, Am a Ghanaian and will like to migrate to Oakville or Burlington , canada

of course blacks are accepted in Oakville, just the same as a white person in Kingston Jamaica .
