    Nodding along, taking notes, then you get to the "small storage boxes along beams" bit and my co-op partner and I both went THAT IS BRILLIANT. Material stashes on-site without taking up the space of a regular/industrial full-up bin, and making them look neat besides? Heck yeah.

    Fantastic video Tom, I love the advanced techniques you are showing off. Its worth mentioning that when doing up-lighting, the walkway T junctions don't interfere with the light, but the rest of the walkway pieces do. This allows you to put a walkable path over up-lights so they are flush with a buildings floor.

    One of things I love about your channel is how you show what more can be done ingame without the need really of mods. I do know you use a few, but I know these things can be done without them.

    As a new play how big do I need to build I see all these massive mega factories but to complete the game so you need these mega factories or are they being build by content creators to show case. I am just unlocking oil got my first couple oil gens but been couple about 100 hours in the game don’t seam to have enough resources to build these massive factories and feed them and know wonder do I really need 1000 computers a min or is this just items content creators do to show case there builds

    How are you changing items without opening the build menu?

    • @toniturnschuh
      @toniturnschuh 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      you can use the scrollwheel click to select whatever you're looking at (similar to minecraft), or you can use the hotbar. assign buildings to the hotbar by hovering over a building in the menu and pressing the button you want it to be assigned to. you can also hold down "alt" while scrolling to change through multiple hotbars.

    I just thought of a great feature that Satisfactory really needs. You should be able to preset the settings of different things such as the signs so that when you place the sign, it would already be set to the right setting. Much better than having to copy paste them all the time. Same can be done to everything such as constructors. You could set them to the right production % and the item and then place them in the right spots without having to copy paste things. Doesnt seem like it would be too hard to add to the game either. Think of all the hours of copy pasting that would be saved...

    I want to point out that using a lot of signs for fake light in close proximity are very GPU hungry atm. So be aware if you dont have beast PC. Its kinda pain to place and set them just to get removed becouse everything went blurry once a lot of them are placed. Learned that hard way sadly :D

    How did you get the white accents on the roof of your factory at the beginning to be so white? They look to me like concrete foundations painted white, but the game wont let me get them nearly as brightly white for some reason? I can paint them other colors like blue, red, yellow, etc, but when I try white it doesn't get nearly as bright as yours.

    • @TotalXclipse

    Guys I have a Question I have made a 15 per minute Encased industrial beam factory and now I want to process 10 of them to heavy modular frames. How does it work that are going 10 encased industrial beam to process it to heavy modulare frames out of the container and the other 5 can still stay in the container
    Very thankful to get very soon a answer!!

    • @TotalXclipse

      Just use a splitter to send 5 items to the storage then have the other 2splitter outputs run to a merger then on to the next factory.

    "You can add depth to your roofs..." Not really a tip that makes much sense when your normal roof is a flat surface. Which mine almost always are, since it means I don't need to strip anything away if I build something on top of it.

    • @TotalXclipse
      @TotalXclipse  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Even with a flat surface you can add depth - doesn't matter if you use diagonals like me, or peaked roofs, you can make it work if you want to, just give it a try 😉
