The steam page says: "A mix between Portal, Zelda and Metroid." So I guess they are pretty up front about thier influences. Even though those sounds almost feel like samples...
The puzzles scattered around a open-ish world reminds me of The Witness too. Overall the game seems to have kind of a higher-quality flash game vibe too. Looks fun.
Ok, the sword constantly flailing into the middle of the screen is giving me that really uncomfortable feeling you get between your eyebrows when you see something somewhere in front of you that’s pointing towards your eyes. It tingles and you want to go all cross eyed and it feels weird and makes you stop what you’re trying to do and close one eye to stop depth perception and then close both your eyes and rub them and... Gah, I hate that! That’s the worst.
12:30 If you want to talk about games where you unlock features and UI elements, you have to bring up DLC Quest, where you can't even move left until you buy the ability to do so.
The devs put a lot of work and effort into it, but it's not my cup of tea since it's like most puzzle games out there. It want's you to use logic because the dev's logic is non existent. Why the hell do I have to go through some monotonous and tedious BS, just to get to a ledge and press a button to open a DOOR?! One of the easiest things a person can do. Other then that gripe it's a cool little game
How dare you assume his/her species. I identify as a jellyfish so I don't have a skeleton. It's 2020 - I wish people would start being more tolerant already...
"Bad Looking Jesus" is my favorite Depeche Mode song.

This game looks like what flash games from my childhood look like in my mind.
omg yes
YESSSS.
This was made with unreal engine 4, how does that look like flash?!?
The sword constantly popping in and out of view is legit making me nauseous.
How did they develop and test this game for hundreds or thousands of hours and think "this is okay"
Might just be the FOV not being wide enough? Once he starts moving faster it makes me sick, too.
Is fixed in the new patch.
How is this possibly making you nauseous?
Crossed with the horrible DoF, it's migraine inducing.
I can't get over that sword going up and down. I can't imagine playing through the entire game like that.
I just played it last weekend and it wasn´t like this. It got fixed I suppose. The game is really good. I blew through it. Couldn´t put it down.
Lol I love the Stanley parable 8 reference with the 9.
Holy crapspackle the thumbnail completely betrayed my initial thoughts on what this game is. Wishlisted immediately.
so Dan knows video games, wrestling, ...... and religion??
The puzzles scattered around a open-ish world reminds me of The Witness too. Overall the game seems to have kind of a higher-quality flash game vibe too. Looks fun.
This game looks pretty sweet. It's 33% off right now for just over $13 over on Steam. There is also a demo for people who wanna try it out fist.
I'm halfway through it and it's amazing.

The 9 button is actually a reference to the stanley parable.
suffer Abby, suffer as I have playing right handed characters is just about every game ever
Jesus things going on.

Andrew Garfield fits Spider-Man, but he suffered because the script was pretty rough.
Cover Outward, please!
Hackswaw Ridge was directed by Mel Gibson, definitely not surprised that it was heavily religious.
"Get the MacGuffin from the Red Crystal tower!"
Doom 2016 man runs 16 miles per hour (26km/h)
"Is scorpion from a Mortal Kombat game?"
12:23 The game is evoland
Vinny acting like it came out when he was a little kid
the "9" button is a stanley parable refrence
Hacksaw ridge came out like 3 years ago lol
Evoland was the game that unlocks basic elements if rpg games.
rpg... what does that stand for...
Giant Bomb is the only channel I know that will give shovelware looking games the spotlight with sincerity.
SHOVELWARE???????????????
11:34 That's a Stanley Parable reference. Except in that game it's "Eight."
Also Hacksaw Ridge came out in 2016.
This game would be perfect on switch
game is really good
I regretted buying the game
10/10 on steam lol
Did they just rip the Mario coin sound? How is that legal?
Or is it just different enough it's not a legal issue ? I can't tell.
Pretty sure Nintendo specifically copyrighted that sound
i think its a pitch down.
Can't exactly own a sequence of 2 notes.
Tried this game when it was first released, god damn it was tedious.
Ok where were the spoiler alerts
No spoilers here, this and more is part of the free demo that you can play. That's what I did, then I quickly bought it after.
@@xAeternax You're awesome!
@@DavidM1337 Nice game by the look of it, man! Gonna try that demo too.
title: quick look
video: is 23 minutes long
"Is Scorpion from a Mortal Kombat game" Really lmao?

This game looks shit, taking it off my wishlist.
Stick figures aka I gave up and have no imagination
Why are three people narrating a video that could easily be described by one person? Super annoying.
"i don't know what these things are"
it's a skeleton. you don't know what a skeleton is? you have one inside of you right now.
How dare you assume his/her species. I identify as a jellyfish so I don't have a skeleton.
