Great overview of McBain by Otto. How fantastic to have worked so closely with this great author. I feel this video could have gone on for many hours with Otto's memories. Great stuff! Will share this on some of the Facebook groups🙂👍
A quickie: "Blackboard Jungle" (1955) was not Sidney Poitier's first film; he had important roles in major motion pictures dating back to 1950. "In the Heat of the Night" (1967), in which he received top billing, is an unusual but marvelous murder-mystery, given its superb cast, script, and atmosphere (a small southern town in summer). Unfortunately, the two sequels that followed this, in 1970 and 1971, were very disappointing by comparison. - Ray C.
Thanks!
