    Enjoy it! Just bought a 2013 and it's been a dream. LCs last forever, refined and will never disappoint.

    My ‘99 has 515,000 miles. It runs strong and rides better then my dads 2013 200 series.

      @@NeverEndingProjectGarage Regular maintenance is all you need tbh - the 100 series practically take care of the rest!

    I was searching a used vehicle for myself and had come across 1998 toyota land cruiser. Found your video on TH-cam. I'm amazed how these toyota's can just go on and on.
    Very nice video 👍.
    Giving proper details.

    I have the 98 cruiser with lockers the good year it's got 330k and doesn't burn a drop of oil and oil stays clean best vehicle I've ever hard only thing seems hard to get parts and they are costly and notice theres more parts for the fj 80 and the model after the 100 series

    I’ve wanted a FJ 100 for the better part of a decade. Finally found my dream truck this week. Black 98 with 277K. I’m the third owner! Love yours as well.

    Hi! I totally enjoyed your video! Sounds like you So Enjoy your Cruiser! Yea & again foe being 20!! stinkin' years old!! Dude thats dope! ... So what I am truly interested in is you mentioned you had your timing chain replaced... may I please ask how much this was for you?, if it's not too personal? I am looking to acquire one sometime in mid-summer this year! Cruise On!

      Thanks! The timing belt + water pump was around $1000 at a Toyota dealer.

    • @hazemgiballi
      @hazemgiballi 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Clif D can have it done at an independent shop for $5-600 with water pump. Shop around

    Nice rig! Is it still hanging in there? Do you have an update video?

    • @NeverEndingProjectGarage
      @NeverEndingProjectGarage  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's hanging in there! There will be videos coming soon where I'm getting it ready to be a tow vehicle for the new car.

    Finally a person with common sense. To often guys make it seem like they will ever use half the shit they spend on equipment and add ons that qill never be used.

    How much do these things run for with 250k miles?

    • @NeverEndingProjectGarage
      @NeverEndingProjectGarage  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It really depends on condition, I've seen them go from anywhere from 3-25k with that mileage. Condition, modifications, and current maintenance matter a lot more.

    Do 98s come with a key with buttons to lock unlock?

    • @NeverEndingProjectGarage
      @NeverEndingProjectGarage  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mine did, yeah. But, it came with an aftermarket keyless entry/start system, so I can't use the buttons on the keys.

    Hi. I liked your video content, but you really need a camera with image stabilisation. It was very difficult for watch.

  • @stocksj
    @stocksj 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    What did that 98 cost you?

    • @NeverEndingProjectGarage
      @NeverEndingProjectGarage  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      4500, but I immediately spent another 1k on the timing belt and water pump, so figure 5500 to get it up to speed.
