Update to my last comment: Found a pair of Kenwood speakers that fit on my forth try. The CRV will not fit the majority of 6.5 inch speakers so I highly recommend going somewhere like bestbuy where stuff it easy to return until u find a pair that works

do upgraded speakers just increase clarity ? not volume ?
Volume is a function of input power, regardless of configuration, size, etc. As such, your control module is what determines volume, not your actual speakers. However, your speakers are only designed to handle particular power ranges, so you must be sure you select a suitable speaker for your available power range, or you run the risk of blowing out the speaker and/or having a short due to overloading and starting a fire.
@@Namington Thank you so much for the detailed response. I recently had my friend who is really knowledgable about this stuff do a big upgrade in my crv. We installed a 1500 watt amp, 3 subs, 2 tweeters and 4 new mid ranges and 2 that include tweeters as well. It was def a big upgrade and i love every part of it!
what is the the name of adaptor?
I can't figure out how the wire harness goes on no matter how much force I use
My 6.5 in polk d652 won't fit because the bolt pattern is a square not a triangle..
So I have a 2001 Honda Cr-v but the gray connector is missing from the cr-v, the one which is connected to the blue and gray wire. I want to just buy the connector but the Honda is missing its side of the connection. How can I find connector and install just like your video or should I just figure out how to attach the speaker to the blue and gray wires? Thanks!

How did you put the dash screen in the CRV
I’ll have to do a write up when I do my wife’s car. It’s the same thing as doing a single din radio but you’ll have to use a double din radio kit.
Hey man quick question are these speakers louder or the same as the stock ones?
It’s the same at the same volume just cleaner sounding with more mids and base tones

Just so y’all know the 2000 CRV DOES NOT have 6.5inch speakers they are 6.25 and thus nothing I bought would fit
Odd because I literally installed 6.5” in this video, the link for the speakers are in the description
@@hondapartsheroful tried the same brand (and a different one) that were both 6.5 but wanted to purchase a more expensive one than the one u had and neither fit. When I measure the old ones they’re definitely 6.25
