Nice collection for the price, but one big point of criticism: Both the Seiko SNK793 and the Orient Mako 2 shown in the video have a blue dial. Getting the Mako 2 in another color would've added a lot more diversity to the otherwise great beginner collection and given the fact that the Orient Mako is available in plenty of colors, I don't understand why the blue dial was chosen for the video. Choose the Orient in red and you have not only covered different watch types but with a white-ish, blue, green and red dial you also have a very colorful collection. Another brand that would fit perfectly fit into the collection is Lorus, which belongs to the Seiko group.
@@thesteadyticker Thanks for the response. I just started out my collection and dial color is one of the main things i consider at the moment when I add a new piece to my collection. The Seiko cocktail time is such a great watch for the price, because the dial makes it look so much more expensive than it actually is. When I ask people how much they think it costs there are 3 main groups of people: 1. Watch enthusiasts who know the price 2. People who have never bought a watch for over $50 and know absolutely nothing about watches, like the difference between quartz and automatic. They usually underestimate the price because they have absolutely no knowledge about watches and think $200 would already be really expensive. But those people would underestimate every watch unless ist's a Rolex, because that's the only luxury brand they've ever heard of. 3. People who have a general idea what a good watch can cost, but don't know the Cocktail Time. And those people usually guess the price much higher, like a colleague of mine looked at the watch, mentioned how beautiful the dial is and estimated $2,500.

Thanks for the feedback! You make a great point about adding more dial colors for variety. We'll keep that in mind for future collections
