    I used to try to eat one cookie after the whole day and one cookie turned in 3 then turned into 5 then I would just end up eating the whole box it’s addictive I just avoid buying it at all

    Bro, I stopped eating sugar and carbs, I am now on the keto diet, I have noticed some benefits especially in my skin, but I feel that I have lost a blessing which is my sense of taste, I am now on the keto diet but I do not enjoy food, I only eat to fill my stomach, but before I used to get excited about mealtime and enjoy every bite I took. I am not complaining, I am just saying what I feel.

    Agree. The hardest part of avoiding sugar is that it is found in everyday foods like pasta sauce, cheese pastries, frozen french fries and more. Plus it is everywhere meaning industries change the name of sugar in order to make it unnoticeable.

    Not saying that artifical sweetners are good. But the real benefit to them is being able to enjoy a soda with 0 sugar, allowing you to stay in ketosis, which I think is probably the most important factor. Secondly, artifical sweetners are not addictive compared to sugar.

    Never had any energy rash after a glass of milk with honey, or after a couple fruit. The fiber explains why it works with fruit, but I really dont know why honey doesnt give me any energy crashes, infact it is one of the most energizing things I´ve ever drank. And nobody is out here getting fat or having depression from eating to many oranges lol

    If sugar itself were so addictive then wouldn’t people just eat sugar on its own?
    When do you ever see someone just sit there and eat table sugar on its own
    It’s when sugar is added in combinations to other foods or macronutrients in particular carbs and fats that make that particular food hyperpaletable and higher in calories (for example cookies or donuts), this sends a dopamine rush to your brain and tells your brain to signal to eat more, that’s what’s makes it addictive and causes overconsumption.
    The same could be said for adding salt or msg to certain foods that also make them also hyperpaletable
    The body really only sees sugar as an energy source at the end of the day
    Overconsumption of foods that are hyperpaletable due to the addition of sugar is the problem.

    I work as a Fedex Delivery driver, and im always worn out after delivering for the day. Legs sore and everything. I drink a cup of coffee with a spoon of sugar every morning. You think cutting out that sugar will help with my fatigue?
