4:48 This is actually true to real life. When you are in a vehicle that is moving faster than your target, you have use "reverse lead" to compensate for the velocity that your bullet is already travelling.

Tracker is also a really good and underrated 3rd perk, with a lot of testing, I’d say it’s saved my life a couple of times and has gotten me a whole lot of kills

90 % of people use amped
Tracker is only useful if you don’t have a headset or if the player is using dead silence and you knew where they were

@@JohnDoe-xf5jm I saw someone say there is which makes sense but I also found out that cold blooded counters it which I think is pretty dumb and makes it less appealing. Seems like more people are running cold blooded for some reason, don’t know if it’s to counter thermals or for high alert
For long, open ranges sure. But for tight spaces/indoors, high alert isn't nearly as useful as ghost.

My problem with High Alert is that the pulses come with red hit marker. LOL. I don't even have time to react to the pulse coz people be beaming me right away. Hahaha!

Tomo I am surprised you did not grind out for the blue dot reticle for the sniper scope, I just finished the platinum camo. Great content as always!
I'm not a huge fan of the blue dot for snipers. I much prefer the clean look of the Cover Shot reticle but that's just me!

6:30 Tomo, for a mouse pad use a "TEKMAT". Its a cleaning mat used for rifles with firearm blueprints on it but it's made from mouse pad material. Comes in size around 36"x12". Mine is of the Russian SKS. I have my Keyboard and mouse on it, never run of mouse pad space again
A trade off between your enemies not seeing you on the radar with a UAV or heartbeat, or being on the radar but you know when the enemy actually sees you. I think the specialist bonus drop really helped illustrate High Alert's usefulness but I'm still not sold lol, especially in my lobbies - everyone just pops a UAV and runs at me😭

So question for Master T. When you get dropped into WZ are you already carrying your weapon loadout or is it like PUBG and you land with nothing and have to fight to get weapons to start the slaughter? The last FPS I played was PUBG 2 years ago when I walked away from it and im currently building a killer PC to run WZ.

High Alert is the best perk for late game zones that are in the open. I generally prefer restock, but end game & comeback classes - high alert is the wave.

The thing is tho, with the TTK being so short it can almost be “useless” in a way because you will die before you can react. Or you will live but then have a very good idea which direction they are in, making it somewhat underwhelming. Ghost on the other hand is a fully functioning passive ability which helps you survive first although it’s kinda scummy using it on your first load out 👎 IMO restock is the perk to use now. You will either die before you can react or you will live and you have unlimited stuns in your arsenal. I normally go with stuns and Molotov cocktails. As the cocktails are good for vehicles and halting enemy entry giving you time to recoup and the stuns are for an easy easy kill 🤙

Tom I don't normally shout out other channels in comments but if you haven't checked out Rockst4r before, you owe it to yourself. Guy has run KAR98 + High alert since day 1 and has no sign of stopping. Absolute beast example of high alert mixed with good snipes.

Make a short video with your graphics settings and nvidia control panel changes, please 🥰
All you need to do is make sure dsr factors are off and power management mode for the game is set to prefer maximum performance. Then if you want, you can set textures to high performance. That really is it.

Practice makes perfect. You can download aim trainer minigames that turn flick accuracy with a mouse into muscle memory. Most pros on kbm have used an aim trainer at some point. Only the liars say otherwise.

My experience with this perk is that high alert got changed and made near useless since the cold War integration. I usually don't get a notification anymore

What exactly is broken about CW suppressors? Have not played in a while now and unaware of the meta.
The agency gives bullet velocity and damage range, but it also gives recoil reductions without significant cons
If Ghost wasn't needed to not be ambused by Heartbeat scrubs, I'd definitely use High Alert. Top tier underrated Red Perk for sure, and if you have a soild team to play with then you really don't require Ghost anyway.
On one hand I feel like ghost is essential to counteract the baby monitor boys, but at the same time, if they're right up on you and you don't know it, then your situational awareness needs some work. (Unless of course they run up on you with deady equipped.) If you have decent situational awareness I think something like high alert can be a game changer. Now that I think about it, even when I have ghost, 9 times out of 10 when I die, it's from some roze wearing dufus sitting in a dark corner essentially invisible, or someone camping a roof who shoots me in the back. If I get eyes on them, I'm usually coming out of the gun fight alive regardless of the situation. Throw in a yellow beam on your screen when someone is aiming at you, and the game just got easier. In reality, most people run overkill on their first class anyway, and still survive without ghost so why not? Tonight will be the test run for high alert.
