I knwo you just mentioned about possibly canceling your subs but did you get the romantasy one? I'm debating already canceling it😅
No, I signed up pretty late to the waitlist! Oh no, have the selections not been great so far?
@@welshreader I mean the first book will be this month but for April and May the books are having a lot of bad early reviews and are drastically different from one another (in terms of genres and tone) and don't fit the romantasy theme exactly 😅
The first one apparently reads like a YA book with one spicy scene which feels uncomfortable because the characters read YA (even though they are not) and the pacing and writing isn't good. The second book is a paranormal romance that has no plot and mostly just focuses on the sexual tension haha

I cancelled my YA and Adult Fairyloot a while back as I just wasn’t enjoying or interested in the books, but I’m hoping the Romantasy one is better
I get Illumicrate and Afterlight and they seem to be better fit for me, but I do still skip some months of those
This edition of the book is stunning though 🦢
I’m thinking about cancelling my Fairyloot sub too! I just don’t want to miss out on early access which is a stupid reason really. I’ve skipped next month’s box and I think I’ll be skipping the month after too😬
I definitely feel like Illumicrate choose better books!
