Guys, this is a game changer for you hustlers and I will never go back to being a regular salesmen since becoming a master of service to sales! I recently moved from the west coast of Florida back to the east coast of Florida. While on the west, I was part of an exchange team at a Kia dealership. I averaged $100k in gross per month out of the service department and having and absolute blast doing it. Since moving back to the east coast, I presented my stats to 4 different dealerships and basically created a position JUST FOR THIS at every location. I walked in and said that I only want to sell service customers. I dont' take ups, phone ups, leads, nothing... I couldn't believe they didn't have it in place already lol. Anyway, I started with a Toyota dealership on 5/5. that's 8 days ago. Take away day 1 of paperwork and gathering your surroundings and that leaves 7 days.. Sitting at 6 deals with $28k in gross. Not a bad first week 💵🏦 Oh, and another perk of doing this. How does 7:30-4 sound? It's currently Saturday and I was home by 4:30 IStart mingling around your service department and meeting your customers. The UP buss comes through daily 😎
Dude can you please send me your script. I don’t have access to talking to service clients( someone else does that) but I do have the ability to see every service customer who has made it in to the dealer within the last 3 months. So I can call them! What’s your script for cold calling one?
When I’m mingling the service department, I’m the vehicle exchange coordinator. When I’m cold calling, I refer to myself as the VIP Manager. You’ve got to have a reason for the call though. Did they just make a major repair and paid the bill? Did they buy from you and you can save them on their rate? Don’t be like the normal salesmen Im so and so and this is my role here at the dealership. This is how I help our clients etc etc etc. are they interested in learning more? Get them back in. If not.. great, we’ll see you for your next service. Ask for me and we’ll have coffee. The video text that Andy mentions is a great tool for those that don’t answer. I used a similar technique in real estate. It puts a face to the name. And don’t worry about fumbling, it just shows your a real person. You can send them to the customers who have visited in the past but could also use it for upcoming service appointments. If you have a busy drive and can’t touch all of them it’d be more along the lines of hey this is so and so at xyz Toyota. This is my role and this is how I help our customers. I see you’ll be bringing your 2020 camry in for service today/tomorrow. If you see me around the dealership and want to know more, stop me when you see me.

Absolutely! I would definitely not want to be the cause of a divorce so I would use my skill to neutralize the situation and say “my wife talks to me to about everything that we do too. As much as I trust her judgment to make decisions without me we still always make them together, probably just like you and your husband do correct?” She would say yes… And then I would say if you wouldn’t mind you can use my office to call him real quick and make sure you two are on the same page which I’m sure you are and at that point I would even throw in and if he’s OK With you passing go and taking the vehicle home right now I could also do this special thing for you and at that point I would maybe throw in a little extra offer like add $250 extra trade in voucher for her car, maybe a full tank of gas and two extra details that she could redeem at any time, or something just to show reciprocity. There’s many ways to handle that in every situation would be different But that just gives you a little bit of is an example of maybe how I would handle that
