    I make your recipe for Garlic Soup quite often. We enjoy it on these cooler days. I usually add a bit of sausage to mine. My husband says I'm turning into a great Czech cook thanks to your recipes:).

    What kind of cheese did you add with the ham?

      It depends on where you are from. In the Czech Republic, I use Eidam or Gouda (Dutch semi-hard cheeses) with a fat content of 30%. If you want the cheese to really melt in a hot soup, use cheese with a higher fat content, around 45%.
