29:24 is perfect block (green shield timing) aka no stamina consumed. master strike is before that. watch the shoulders. /edit this will be a bit nerdy analytic: video speed 0.5 play sequence from 29:10 - 29:20 watch bernard's shoulders and try and notice when green shield pops up. for really detailed view use on paused video to fwd/bck frame by frame. there's 60 frames/pictures per sec in this video. we're interested in just about 15-30 frames starting at 29:16 frame 1 at 29:16 Bernard has right hand up shoulder normal you see it there. on frame 2 and frame 4 you see he starts swing and leans into it with his right shoulder. i assume frame 4 would be the earliest timing to start Master Strike. frame 17 is when green shield = perfect block no stamina consumed timing starts. this window gets wider the better Henry gets at warfare and his used weapon skill, vs opponent. frame 29 we see our handsome Lord Hans Capon execute said perfect block, notice the yellow stamina bar regenerating undisturbed. see, as of now there's half a second window for Henry to not get hurt at all and not spend any stamina, to block or evade enemy attack. that's not bad and it'll only get better. if one persists :)
It helps to watch the shoulders sometimes to get the timing right on a perfect block/master strike. The hardest part becomes not watching the combat star in the center 😂
I can't wait to get to hear all of Sir Hans new Smart a** remarks in KCD 2 the first time I heard him make fun of Archibald calling him Arse n balls had me rolling 😆🤣 I still say Hans deserves atleast a dlc where he is the main protagonist.
You really should train your stamina management and the perfect block timing. The enemies in the tournament will otherwise counter your attacks many times. And if your stamina is depleted every hit you get goes straight on your life.
