For bread storage, suck the air out and give it a twist. Stick the twist under the loaf to hold it tight. Less oxygen = slower growth of bacteria. Also it's like vaping bread for a second.

I love your hacks and money saving ideas. I just wanted to mention for those unaware, always save the stems of the parsley (as well as all the skins and ends from your veggies like onions, carrots, celery, herb stems such as parsley, rosemary, thyme, oregano, etc. Then pop in a freezer container to use later when making stock, once you have collected enough of the veg and herb scraps, simply put into a pot and cover with water, adding seasoning if you wish, and boil the scraps until soft and all their nutrients have come out. Strain and you have beautiful homemade stock that is delicious and only cost you a little time and energy to boil it.
The method you showed for removing the parsley stems from the leaves,I love love the hack. I had never thought to do it that way. I have a big cooking spoon with holes in it that I inherited from my Mother. I use either that or my colander to put the stems through the holes to remove the leaves. I grow my own herbs and the colander is ideal when you have lots of mint, parsley, oregano, coriander, etc. as you collect the leaves in the bowl of the colander and can then easily wash them.
I love your idea of making up pancake batter and popping it in a squeezy bottle to save time in the morning. We only do pancakes at the weekend because it takes too much time in the am as everyone is rushing about. I am looking forward to surprising the family next week for breakfast.
I watched your egg hack video just a bit ago and your hack of freezing the egg, peeling it and then slicing it to make mini fried eggs is utterly brilliant. With 4 littles under the age of 5 who love eggs but can never eat a whole one this is going to be a game changer and I had to thank you. I don’t eat eggs as I am allergic to egg whites, and always felt bad wasting the eggs they did not eat despite demanding them for breakfast.
I just found your channel, but have subscribed. Thank you so much for all your work!
And a hack I don’t know if you have done, but seeing you use parchment reminded me. If you are baking a cake and want it to slip out easily, use parchment paper to line the bottom of the pan…to get it to fit, cut a sheet of parchment, fold in half and then fold in half again, like you start out folding to make a paper airplane. keep repeating until you have have folded it as much as you can and you have a long point at one end and a wider bit at the other. Hold your paper point in the centre of the pan so you can judge where to cut the outer, wider edge. Using kitchen scissors, cut the paper across. Unfold the paper and you have a round paper that fits the bottom of your cake pan beautifully.
    Thanks again!

The white vinegar - or white wine / cider vinegar - trick is widely used for poached eggs. Add a splash / teaspoon to the water before you add the eggs, it sets the white MUCH more quickly so you get a much better shaped poached egg. Just don't put too much vinegar or your eggs will taste of it (had this in some hotels) and never use brown / malt as even the smallest amount will taint the colour of your egg whites. Not disastrous but if you are trying to make really nice poached eggs then a funky coloured white is not ideal.

I buy a Chinese bouillon that is salty and tastes like mushrooms. I use it instead of salt. The can is large, so I decant into a smaller jar by using a paper plate. I pour the bouillon onto the plate and fold it a bit like a funnel. It works for me, and I can use it over and over again. Thank you for this very good tips video. Thank you, and stay safe.

That's a clever tip for decanting your Chinese bouillon into a smaller jar using a paper plate as a funnel. It's great to find ways to make the most out of your ingredients and reduce waste!! Thank you and stay safe!

I am stunned! I can't believe the potato masher and boiled egg trick! I crack my eggs into a glass dish and put them into my pressure cooker, but was eating them in large chunks in my salads. What a brilliant idea to use the potato masher! I can't wait to try it! I love your channel, chef!
