Hive gaurd are very powerful now with lethal from the hive tyrant, they have a 80% chance to deal 12 wounds to basic tanks, a 20% chance to one shot a land raider. A 10% chance to deal less then 6 wounds. Its crazy compared to zoanthropse who only have a 50% chance to kill a basic tank. You can look at it yourself at 40k ghost lords dice calculator.
46:20 your swarmlord started the fight phase in engagement range, it should get it’s own pile in when you declare the fight, then if you carve something up, you get a consolidate afterward. That mishandling of the rule cost you the swarmlord fight and it cost him the blade champion’s attacks.
@@TheDanthemanJonesthe other custodes unit in the fights first phase should have piled into the swarmlord. Charged units are eleigible to fight even if they aren’t in melee. So because the opponent chose not to attack with that squad of 2 that made the charge he was able to waste his opponents swarmlord’s clapback. Swarmlord’s 4++ invuln could have lived through combat and gotten his 8 attacks. Either way. Damage 3 weapons were potent in this match.
Well played! I love this detachement, i can´t wait to test this out myself soon. As a former Necron player, healing units is right up my ally. 😂 Btw, at around 43:19 you forgot that Tyrant Guard have the "Guardian Organism" ability, so you would have had a 5+FNP instead of just the 6 from the Psychophage, so 1 wounds more on the Swarmlord. Pretty sure that´s how that works, since the attacks came all at once. Nobody remembers that ability though, not even players on tournaments. Question: "Parasitic Biomorphology": Do you keep the +1 strength ontop of the +1 Attack, after you succsessfully killed a model in melee with a feeder units watching?
16:25 was it possible to line up the exo with the tyranno so they can focus fire, saving your free re roll till later, it's not like it needed to be at that angle.
57:11 you don't actually need to be on obj to use rapacious hunger, the unit that kills a unit just regen by it self you do not need a harvester even close to them to do it.
There's a difference between 'feed the swarm' and 'regenerate' feed the swarm need you to have a harvester on a obj to give that harvester the ability to regen only on the command phase
That’s because they didn’t give him his pile in during the fight phase after the custodes killed all the tyrant guard. I thought that’s what pile in’s are for…
I have played nothing but tyranids and all the different detachments and im pretty sure assimilation swarm is the best now, cause theres just not enough turns in the game to deal with all thoses wounds lmao
A member showed me the 6++ Video where they talked about both of our lists. Congrats! Glad you got it work work out. and Congrats on the Golden Ticket! They only handed out one at our event. Sooooo close.
That's why I love hive guard they are really amazing at taking out knights, and anything with a good inv. Making your opponents use stats. 80% chance to 1 tap a lancer, or a void prysm. Once a game they will one shot a land raider!
12:29 what and you didn't recycle it for a cp? Why not you have like 5 cp a battle round? Come on, that could have been 7 vp in turn 1 if you drew something better
9:24 they did not, in fact, cut that.
Best tyranid channel on planet earth

Mortal Wounds do still spill over. Devastating Wounds don't cause Mortal Wounds anymore, and therefore don't spill over.

He’s not eligible to fight so he can’t pile in. It is checked each time a unit is selected not at the start.

1:20:33 you only have to be on an obj for the regen in the command phase not to regen from reclaim biomass

Did you forget the Hive Tyrant's Lethal hits aura?
Ah yes, Tyranids vs golden Thousand Sons...
Ksons are already gold though

@18:10 the second tank can't see the exo, he is only partially within the terrain.
Get them!
I like to run a squad of 5 allarus with the shield cap in termi armor with ignores cover. Also, Valerian! Check check em out, helps wardens out more.
Really cool shining Armor in the sisters
New battle report lessss gooooooooo
Tyranid versus Custode 10k points when? (Kidding but that also would be fun to watch)
1:42:28 swarm lord was okay at best didn't really do much at all from what I seen but what really put in the work was the fight first hive tyrant

Zoan only have a 60% chance to kill a lancer for reference
