- I'm not sure what to call the Reforged Dota. Is it Dota 1 or Dota 3? Is it Reforged Dota? No idea lol, but it's still cool.

Also, how many heroes are there even? I copied like 90% of the Dota 2 heroes because not everything in Reforged worked or was in the game.
P.s. There is an HD mod for WC 3 that I keep on playing with right now. That mod is what I was considering as Dota 3, but I guess Reforged Dota is more like Dota 3 now? This is confusing lol.

Just for the record. Some models are not the same because they didn't load in REFORGED.
Other models were hard to find because Reforged has new icons, so I was not sure where the models I want were.
Some of the new icons are kind of ugly and hard to read to be honest.
Also, yes, I used some custom skins or heroes that i think would fit more (i could be wrong but hey lol) Arthas does fit more for Omniknight, but Uther is used in Dota 2, so i pick him instead for Reforged. To show off the difference in the art.
P.s. Some heroes did not load as i mention, so this is not every single hero, but very close to the max. 97% close? :P

Would've been a better comparison if all the Dota 2 heroes had their default designs shown instead of random items equipped.
I thought so too, but it would take me ages to remove everything off, plus i want to equip them back for myself.
Its not too different as you can see, and many of the original heroes still don't have items on. I do agree with you tho, just would have taken ages.

Yea, but that model didn't wanna open sadly. It kept on crashing and there was an older Dota version where the wolf rider was used, so i used it here just in case ;p

Yea, altho in Warcraft 3 the first version was pretty much what we got now, just super basic :P It was Zeus vs some other king fighting each other and we had to help them

@Naught Guile I wasn't saying that it was the exact mod that made the genre popular. I was saying that it was the beginning of the genre becoming a genre. I would agree that dota and LoL brought the genre into the mainstream.
@@Derknomicon Actually Aeons Of Strife cannot be considered MOBA by a series of facts, the map was for just one player, the items didn't mix into one,
the enemy was always an AI not other players and the heroes didn't have different skills,
so basically dota is the first real "moba" as we know.

People complaining on Warcraft Reforged Models but forget that you can switch to classic models in reforged because the game is just a modern port with remastered graphics that can switch to classic or modern.
True true, i actually sometimes play with the classic ones. The game does force me to use the new ones for some custom maps tho, sadly that's a thing now... map makers can pick which version the maps need.
Finally Dota will get it's remastered edition they deserve

Reforged design and detailing better but dota 2 quality 1000% better
The gameplay too lol. I like Warcraft Dota, but Dota 2 is my go to dota now. Its soo smooth, you can invite ur friends too and the game itself is much deeper too. But yea, I like the design more. Dota 2 can look like some cheap Chinese game at times.
This is a reason why I quit dota 1 and play Dota

Ye kind of, even worse for some things, or better for some others. Its a mixed bag.
50/50 i guess 🤔, maybe some models from dota 2 and some from reforged. Like the Phoenix from dota 2 and Slithereen Guard from reforged. I can't wait to play the new dota from reforged 😁.
In my opinion most dota 2 models are on par without counting arcane sets, but we could still say that all pandas and trolls look better in dota reforged
Indeed, its hard to say which one looks way better. They are very close and thats great! Dota 2 might have better effects and lightin tho. It uses Source 2 and Warcraft uses the 2003 engine lol.

As i said in the pinned comment, not all heroes could load so it was hard to show every single hero. Refoged beta didnt work that well (Reforged doesnt even work now, check my last video..)

From both a Dota 1 and Dota 2 player. I can tell that DotA 2 is a different game from DotA and Iam very happy to see this happening. Kudos to the Blizzard company that had made this.

Warcraft 3 reforged looks more to what I want to see in terms of remaster or better graphics after DotA 1. I hope full version is gonna be awesome because DotA map needs more work.

I really like Dota since 2006, dota2 forget the sustain word. and it became an easy mode of dota 1 !
im waithing reforged to play MOBA again like 5-6 years without play my favorite hobby. I really hope that Dota does not forget the word sustain and that time is part of the strategy.

A remarkable difference between two graphic design concepts. But imo Dota 2 has a poor lore theory, unlike the Warcraft universe.
