Wow! This is my favorite setup! I can’t function right in a planner that bundles the months in the front and only gives the option of weekly pages or daily pages. This one has everything laid out exactly right. I agree that sometimes having to draw everything out is not ideal. I’ll have to give it a try. Thank you for sharing in so much detail.
I’m in love with my B6 from PTD !!! Her layouts really resonate to how my brain process information. The weeks is a gem as well❤
I ordered one of these for 2025 and I am already curious how I like it ❤ I chose the sand color 😊
I regret not having heard about PTD earlier, but then again, I've learned quite a few things using the Hobonichi A5. Meaning the same stuff you said about the layout and size. Wouldn't have learned it without trying first. I also don't like the quotes, so need to cover them up, but they're so big one ordinary washi is too narrow. And all in all, I love decorating my planner, but it just takes an immense amount of time.
PTD for 2024 is sold out, but I'm looking forward to the 2025 release.
I'm also using a PTD B6 this year and I love it very much.
So unless Hobonichi comes out with a B6 Cousin in 2025, I'm already set up for 2025 haha: I have recreated PTD's layout in a B6 Harriet Wright Designs, because her pages are nicer and the grid size is 5mm. I have reached #PlannerPeace 🙂
I feel the same way! I would definitely jump back to Hobonichi if they released a B6
Good idea to put the info from websites in your journal so you don't have to keep looking it up. I might need to borrow that idea.
I love B6 size but I so need a vertical week otherwise I'd be in a PTD in a heartbeat. Actually thinking of getting her notebook so I can just maybe do a bujo
Similar to the PTD is the B6 Classic Daily by Aura Estelle. Which is what I’m using- it’s funny how you went to a B6 size to have space for deco, but I actually fill a whole B6 page most days
I started with A5 and it was too much space! Going A6 helped me not be so intimidated. 2 weeks into B6 and I’m already filling the page so easily 😅 with minimal deco!
I’ve already locked in my 2024 lineup but this looks like a strong contender for 2025 🤩 thanks for sharing! ❤
This is my daily journal today and it will continue in 2024! I love it!
Excited to hear you think this is your sweet spot! Hoping you love it!
I already went with a wonderland 222 but your explanation of how you would use this is giving me serious fomo
Did you ever do a follow up on how this went?
Ultimately I abandoned this journal ☹️ I loved it though! I couldn’t keep up with daily journaling. I really bit off more than I could chew at the beginning of 2024. I decided to prioritize my 5 Year Hobonichi and my Photo a Day journal. For 2024, Paper Tess Designs released this same layout in an A6 size and man was I tempted!!! I absolutely love the layout and would do the same thing I did in this video. But again I’m continuing my 5 year Hobonichi and photo a day journal for 2025 so adding another daily journal seems too much for me!
I'm so excited to see how you are going to use your PaperTess planner! I'm still waiting for mine to be delivered. I've been looking for a cover and was wondering which one you ordered. I'm afraid this planner is thicker than other B6 planners and won't fit in just any B6 cover. Thank you for sharing!!!
I ordered an Elysian Paper leather cover. I’ve got an unboxing video coming soon (currently uploading!) I was surprised to find it’s really not as thick as it looks! It’s only a few cms thicker than the A6 Hobonichi, and just about the same thickness as the Hobonichi cousin.
Sorry but can somebody tell me what type of marker/brush pen was used for the Hello's in the pen test?
Apart from that absolutely gorgeous stuff, Jasmin. A new subscriber and looking forward to your spreads for 2024!
Hi! I used Pentel Sign Brush pens! My new favorite hand lettering pens this year. Much easier to use than Tombow fudenosuke pens and smaller than Tombows dual brush pens.
I'll be using the PTD B6 for my work planner. The bundling of the months/weeks/days makes sense to me. I can't wait to use it, just a few more days! Also using a Sterling Ink A6 for daily brain dump, a Moleskine Pocket Daily for lists in conjunction with the SI A6, and a Hobnonichi Cousin for memory keeping, art, art challenges.
Another lovely video! I had a great time watching your video while I journaled - it made me miss our in person coffee dates 🥹
My new planner is my techo a6 hobonichi! I’m using it as my little black book to document my life and I love it so much so far!
What are those color pens called?
They are Pentel Sign Brush pens for the hand lettering. The highlighters are Mildliners.
What is the cover on your Cousin? It’s beautiful!
It was a subscription box cover from Archer & Olive
