While i don't disagree with the title, we don't get season 2 WITHOUT all the build up in season 1. I rewatched the whole thing on the lead up to the finale tomorrow & the only major difference is the lack of the Harfoots (thank God) Genuinely, if they removed the Harfoot storyline entirely, it's such a banger show all round
Well, I love the Harfoots story. Just like you can't have season 2 without season 1. The build up to Gandolf's (I assume) relationship with the Hobbits is being established now for a payoff later.
I like this episode. However there was no reason for Elrond to kiss Galadriel. I know he did it to give her the pin so she can escape, but there are other ways he could have given it to her
@@primal1233 I guess that's where 'your' brain went. If you wanted to, you could look into different cultures with platonic kissing (or history). It might seem automatically sexual to 'you', but kissing does not equal romance in all cases. You already stated that you got what the scene intended, that it was not romantic. So it isn't a problem with the story, since you clearly understood what they were going for. What's the issue outside of your own hang ups then?
you guys deserve more views this was a solid reaction
This episode was good. R.I.P to Arondir.
This show was always good. People who hate on S1 are just weak.
I can’t lie tho lol the Harfoot scenes suck😂
No there were a lot of things wrong with season 1 as also with this season but I agree that this season is definitely better than the first
@@Lawsan-d4e There are flaws in both seasons, but I don't demand perfection to enjoy something. I had a good time watching both.

Yea out of all of them the Harfoot story is my least favorite.

10:22 yesss, he's like WTF, why aren't you finishing these rings
The acting nuances between Annatar and Celebrimbanner (yes I went there) are wicked good.
I thought S1 was great, especially the whole mystery with Sauron, wasn’t expecting to have mystery over his identity in a LOTR show
This will make an akward conversation with Arwen later on. “One time I made out with your grandma”
Snow White 😂😂😂

Do public displays of affection make you uncomfy?
@@TheDreamingDays Galadriel is Elrond's mother-in-law. Galadriel's daughter Celebrian is Elrond's wife
