Its so funny because people cant see the next Arcane shows having more stakes or just as good as characters, but as someone who has followed the lore for 10+ years, The story of Jinx and Vi in Zaun and Piltover is such a small grounded story compared to what has been and what's to come. In Marvel terms, think of Arcane season 1-2 being the captain America grounded earth films, and what is too come being Guardians of the galaxy and everything else in terms of expansion of the story and the stakes.

for me each season is a little bit better than the last, so S3 is my favorite overall, then S2 and S1. However, there are certain scenes and plotlines I like better from each season, so in a way it all evens out in the end. great show

I apologize in advance for this rant lol. Idk how much you guys know about the whole Kanye-Kim-Taylor drama but even though it was a long time ago, I can truly understand why it still hurts Taylor. The edited video Kim Kardashian posted of Taylor and Kanye talking caused thousands upon thousands of people to besmirch her and drag her name through the mud. It took 4 years for it to come out that Taylor was telling the truth and she was actually super sweet to Kanye in the conversation they had because award show drama aside, he had been someone she looked up to as an artist. And Kanye’s music video for Famous is STILL up on TH-cam even though it depicts a sex doll version of 26 year old Taylor Swift’s naked body in a bed next to Kanye as well as him calling her a bitch, saying he made her famous, and thinks he still might have sex with her after everything negative he did to her. That shit leaves a mark no matter how much time passes and how much you mature and heal from it.

Portia never had a love match, did not in fact have a steady or reliable husband, lacked any sons to help her shoulder burdens, found herself at the mercy of untrustworthy men again and again. She did not believe in love, having never known it. Given that, and the extreme circumstances, she struggled her best and achieved a great deal. And her genuine ambition was to see Prudence, Phillipa, and Penelope do better than herself. She achieved that--all three married to trustworthy men of means who worship their wives. Brava, Lady Featherington! Violet is a much nicer person, but she can afford to be. She has the privilege of extreme and reliable wealth, the support of a loving and competent husband who raised his son to instantly take up as much of the family's issues as possible ASAP. She never faced the challenges Portia did, and the challenges she did face she almost never, ever had to face alone. Portia made lots of errors, but in good faith to her duty to her family. Granted, Violet has better taste, but that is a talent not a display of character. We all want to have a mother like Violet, but if things went really, really BAD we should be grateful for someone as gutsy, as clever, as determined, and as tireless as Portia.
