Saw one of these at a Lowe’s parking lot and it shared that space with a Escalade. It’s insane to me how much more presence a Cadillac Escalade has over this vehicle that costs twice as much, sometimes 3 times as much. It’s not just the size that’s shocking, the styling of the Escalade just makes other SUVs look alike whilst causing its own boxy frame to truly stand out. I wasn’t shocked when I saw Range Rover adopting the Cadillac esque vertically integrated rear taillights, that design language is just so unique and GRAND! Bentaygas and Cullinans literally take a back burner in presentation and design to the Range Rover and Escalade in my honest opinion. The refresh for the GMC Yukon and Cadillac Escalade shall be jaw dropping!
@@krane15 Bentley’s are just as much off the rack as the Cadillac nowadays, although they may allow for more customization they’re not hand built cars. Every Escalade _V_ boasts a hand-built V8 motor signed by the builder, so Escalades aren’t necessarily “off the rack” either. Both are very special vehicles to own, unique, and of the best craftsmanship from each’s respective corners of the world. The Escalade is more of a household nameplate, albeit a rich household.

Keith made me chuckle when he went around that one corner and floored it.. you lifted a bit in the air out of the seat. Pretty cool and funny when that happened😂♥️
Lovin' the EWB Betayga - It's true luxury, without being as stuffy as RR. Here in Vancouver, BC, the city with the most high end per capita luxury and exotic cars in the World we see the local Rolls dealer struggling to deliver a half dozen Cullinans a year, while Bentley down the street are delivering that many, and more, every month... and it's not about the price - in this segment the price doesn't matter at all. It's the car. Bentley is Simply the Best here in the West!
I love the honest and thorough review. To each its own. I have no complaints with my baby! Cricket ball Satin uniform exterior, airline seat spec, Bentley emblem, rear acoustic privacy- it's perfect for me! She is the definition of quiet enjoyment. She is every thing I was looking for, the price for the quality is a bargain, my passengers feel like the Royalty they are, I love her and am grateful.

Mullinger? “Actual vents…but they aren’t functional.” So they aren’t actual vents either. 🙄 Beluga whales are also white. Beluga Black is a reference to Beluga sturgeon (caviar). I see we are still just saying words without knowing what they mean.
Rear wheel steering is now available on standard Bentega. V12 is no longer available on any Bentaga (there is no speed). Space saving tire is an option. Rear seats do fold down if you get the 5 seater option. Thats a dual clutch not a torque converter.
Good job Bentley. Classic luxury just craftsmanships instead of filling the interior with tech and cheap materials. Need to get Keith on the reviews more often.
I find these to be absolutely hideous, but the EWB is the right size it should've been from day one. Otherwise, as correctly mentioned elsewhere, over and over again, this is just a fancified VW/Audi product. A German product built in England, so it's already a challenged vehicle as far as reliability and durability is concerned. But WOW the interior IS absolutely beautiful and does much to hide the hideous exterior. Thank you for your unbiased excellent review, as always.
I absolutely love the Bentayga.... I absolutely hate this color combination - having sold cars in been involved in management when I was a kid, I can tell you they pay for every car that sits on a lot, when you're playing at this level, you don't have anything on this lot that's not a savvy bespoke color + materials combination. The effort to make sure that whatever is occupying that lot is met with the highest degree a panache you can possibly cram into one of these, never be afraid to challenge the factory... remind them that they're playing on the level where people don't play in the cookie cutter. These cars cost too much to get that wrong.
my 92 year old Grandmother bought this Bentayga to win stop light races. She Brake Torques it every Stop sign/ Red light! Doesn’t everyone that buys this? 😂
The Germans don't commonly offer the rear view cameras. Similarly, the Americans don't offer rear-wheel steering. German engineering with British styling. In any event, its time to clear away the center console shifter as most car maker have agree that moving it to the column or dash allow for an abundance of useful storage space at the center.
Very good review as always. Just wish the car was a more interesting spec. The white body with gloss black accents is so played out. Can’t wait for this trend to die.
I dont like luxury manufacturers are still using some old tech thick bezels monitors at the back.. why? Amoled thin bezels will make it more futuristic.. when the vehicle cost well over 200k.. its possible. Range rover at least is better in this
Great review of an amazing vehicle. LOL, you said "Bentley pleased a lot of enthusiast", No, it did not please "A Lot" of enthusiast, only the few enthusiast that could actually afford them, maybe 0.001% of the population with a driver's license.
At that price point in this day and age, for all that it offers I’m genuinely shocked it doesn’t have auto start option.. even my wife’s Ford Explorer has that feature.
The exterior looks cheap, especially for that price. There are other options out there with more value for your money, better looks, and a little bit more power. Even a Kia Niro has more rear cargo room with the seats up...
A lot of cars are looking more uglier, and this looks horrible but Genesis looks way better, I rather have a GV80 Coupe. Most of the time your just paying for the brand name
