People talk about the bad plot points and awful characterization, but there's also just the complete lack of creativity in the last few seasons. You have characters that are assassins, magic users and have dragons but D&D barely have them do anything.
The importance of the food supply in Westeros is frequently referenced in the books; it’s the main reason Tywin seeks an alliance with House Tyrell. Having Dany destroy the Lannister supply train instead of their soldiers is blatant incompetence, and it’s made even worse when she offers the defeated troops to join her army. You just burned all their food and now you want MORE mouths to feed???
Yea that's why she was pissed off in the first place cause she had no more food to feed her troops. She go on the attack and she burns the food! lol Maybe D & D really want to put the point across that she was dumb.
Food also seems to be a big part of Littlefinger's schemes. He's been hoarding food in the Vale while the other kingdoms deplete their supplies in wars. It's heavily implied that he plans to ride out the winter with a huge stockpile while everyone else starves so that he can come out with the most resources and well-fed troops.
5 years later and we still getting content dunking on Game of Thrones and I love it lmao. God i wish we could go back and fix how GOT was handled to this day.

They papered over the cracks though for the next couple of seasons and they show maintained its quality because they kept most of the major moments from the books, but after S4 it began to unravel.
You overlooked another major plot hole; the Wight in no way proves the existence of an army of the dead; Cersei has an undead of a different variant standing right next to her, and John himself is technically an undead, so the whole exercise of the climax is pointless.
They never even brought up Jon’s resurrection so Cersei has no idea about that 😅 But yeah Cerseis reaction is predictable. Even not knowing what they’d lose, it was a terrible plan with no good payoff. Nor was there payoff to Cersei promise of aid that didn’t come, just never brought up.

You've come a long way since the Abandoned Plot Lines video that I first saw of you. Great to see how good you've become at making videos. Not just the writing but also the editing for the humor.
The thing that really annoyed me is that D&D turned Sansa & Arya into CERSEI LANNISTER, and they did this without even realizing it or seeing the irony. For instance, Cersei was awful to Sansa when she was a child, putting the girl through torture, when Sansa’s only sin was being Ned Stark’s daughter. Then, in this season, Sansa says that Ned Umber & Alys Karstark, who were both children, should be punished based on what their FATHERS did. As for Arya… she killed off all those people under Frey for payback which is exactly something CERSEI would’ve done like when she blew up the Sept. D&D saw those scenes as “girl boss” moments when it actually revealed to me that Sansa & Arya are psychopaths. CERSEI WOULD’VE BEEN SO PROUD OF THESE LITTLE MONSTERS!
Yeah because you can tell DD had their heads messed up regarding current day politics and injected that into the story making beloved characters insufferable, cringey, morons and made other characters pathetic, crazy and stupid.
@macflod do you care to elaborate? Idk what politics have to do with D&D getting lazy and letting insecurities about their storytelling abilities take over any semblance of intrigue and logic in the story
HOTD for me is a lame duck. GOT was special because of all the intrigue and dialogue of the early seasons. The deterioration of the show roughly coincides with the increased screen time the dragons were given. For me HOTD is basically just the dragon stuff turned up to eleven. Its almost like they don't bother with the dialogue in HOTD because they are relying too much on the dragons being the main draw. The dragons are carrying way too much of the show, the dialogue is weak, and if you take them away this show would have little to offer.
@@hnnsyi mean, the premise of the show itself just isnt nearly as interesting as the main series. The span of characters, area, points of action and consequence are pitiful compared to even like the first two episodes of game of thrones. Well, it made me angry while watching it. Also, why is 2 of the worst season of TV ever made the barometer for HOTD S2? Just because it's not S7 or S8 level doesn't mean it's not bad, it is.
Arya has Batman level plot armor at this point of the story screw dragons imagine if other characters learned The Faceless Men techniques their armies would be near unstoppable😭
Arya doesn't has Batman Plot armour because Batman does not have plot armour. There are reasons and explanation always given in the Batman Comic Books With Every Batman Feat at the most no rules are broken that fiction storyline that are established and are made in that fiction atleast. In actuality, Batman doesn’t have that many showings of PIS in modern day comics. Again, he does sometimes but not as often as people like to say he does.
Yep, felt like 8 episodes with the last two missing (exactly what we got). I have no idea why we're going back to the shorter season formula, it just doesn't work.
It didn't make any sense, Alicent, Rhaenyra, Aemond, Daemon, Helaena and others didn't make sense. It is as bad as season 5/6 at best and has some scenes that are season 8 worthy like Alicent trying to sell out all her male family members to the people who killed her grandson in exchange for her daughter and grandaughter to become hostages of those very same people.
HOTD season 2 was just bad, as well. People will lie and tell you it was just missing the final two episodes and nothing more, but no, it was just bad television.
It’s pretty clear in the books that Sandor Clegaine ends up living at a secluded community of holy men, so I felt that the show was making a nod to that.
The end reveal that they did all that and failed, lost a dragon and ensured the walls destruction, all to capture a Wight, a thing that cannot cross the magical wall anyway and then take it hundreds miles south to try impress another character that didn't even care
@@mickieg1994 when they easily could have forced the Lannisters to surrender in a day, overthrow Cersei and then conscript what is left of the Lannister army to join their fight in the North.
@masterplokoon8803 that's actually pretty much what I would of thought would go down, with arya basically being a God of death to any human, cersei shouldn't really have posed that much of a problem. Feel like they could of drawn it out by trying to strong arm cersei into supporting them, would have been fun to watch
@@mickieg1994 i think actually capturing a wight to send to cersei in concept could be a cool plotline, but the insane amount of mistakes in it blew my mind. first of all, why would you put ALL your main characters there for the expedition? It would be much smarter to send a small party from the NW beyond the wall, being led by maybe Tormund or Edd. Also why tf did Dany basically do nothing when the NK attacked Viserion???
@HimselfMan96 I agree, it's a really cool idea, to expand on it a little, they're gonna go further north than any man has ever been and capture some of the first wights to ever turn, so much opportunity there Moreover why did Danny go at all? They walked in and it was just too convenient that the night king was able to turn a dragon and destroy the wall with it. The one that was flying around, while another the size of a Boeing 777 was just chilling at ground level, not moving and containing pretty much every main character left from this end of the story arc at that point, guess the night king recognised he wouldn't stand a chance against that much plot armour. One of my main criticisms is that both dragon deaths were as meaningless as they were stupid, the other died because Danny forgot about the most powerful navy in the world was exactly where they said it was, infact they literally pointed it out to her and said It was dangerous and not to go near it.
1:00 It's not even that, GOT forgot the Lannisters gave Riverrun to the Freys. In the book, Tywin's sister, Genna, is married to Emmon Frey and the have 4 sons, one of them being sir Cleos Frey, whom we met in season 2. Emmon Frey holds Riverrun currently.
To be fair to Eminem Frey he didn’t have anything to do with the red wedding and never betrayed the starks,he fought for the lannisters, the whole war.
A) Having Daario, Grey Work, and Arya infiltrate King’s Landing would’ve been incredible B) Having NK/Euron kill Dany leaving Jon with Rhaegal and having him become the mad Targaryan would’ve been incredible. First life Stark, second life Targaryan-the song of ice and fire

Audiences saying HOTD S2 was as bad as S7 & 8 need to watch this video. Let's not forget, D&D were given unlimited resources by HBO but actively chose to finish it all in 13 episodes. HOTD so far has been hindered by COVID and a writers strike and it STILL turned out a thousand times better than GOTs last two seasons.
Don't forget HOTD also went through Zaslavs whack ass budget cuts forcing the show to be cut down to 8 episodes weeks before production began, too little time to rewrite and restructure the season
I recently watched early seasons and realised two characters are like main characters of the story. They work behind scenes and simply runs entire plot. The first one is Little Finger and second one is Varys. Littlefinger was game changer of the early seasons and how he started to fall after season 4 and his end in season 7 was pathetic. Varys is another chessplayer, he is probably responsible of Mad King's downfall and there is a theory that he was a secret Blackfyre. Littlefinger and Varys are maybe most complex characters in the series, how D&D not know to use them shows their lack of talent.
Dd couldn’t use these characters or any of them really because they didn’t have the ability to- like im saying they don’t seem to have the brain power but also they probably had this written by committee and im guessing object went away from writing good story to- give audience what they think they want- ie kill the horrible hated characters, give them Jon and Dani getting Jiggy even though they are aunt and nephew but they probably didn’t realise that, cock jokes, boss babes and throw out logic to hover all these things to the audience. Forget the whole reason GoT was popular was because it didn’t give you all this nonsense, it gave you a feeling of reality and a dangerous world where no character was safe and any small decision or mistake could have huge consequences.
0:04 At its worst HotD Season 2 reaches Season 5 levels. And even then it has some absolute gems like Rhaenyra the Cruel, the Dragon Claiming & Daemon’s arc.
Daemon had no arc, he learned nothing and still wanted to rule until a prophecy told him that Rhaenyra was the chosen one and if he doesn't suport her the world would end. And the Alicent&Rhaenyra scenes are season 8 worthy. Overall I would say it's season 5/6/7 level but it definitely has scenes that are season 8 level.
Daemon being forced to confront literally his entire shitty past of abusing people he loved and showing the seeds of the next generation of senselessly violent Targs in a haunted castle was literally one of the best parts of Season 2 and haters can stay mad. My pet theory about why it dragged out a bit was that it originally was supposed to conclude earlier but after the episode cuts the writers realized EP 8 would be super bland so they extended the story to end in EP 8 so the season could feel like it had some sort of pay off, however meager.
Tbh if they were to show Varys being grilled by Dany while they were still sailing to dragonstone, it would’ve made a nice scene as a flashback during the episode that he was executed.
Holy moly how did bungle this lol. Tbf, when a script is this big, some things fly over my head. I did the same in my season 5 devoid of logic where I mixed up a couple names for some characters.
@SupercutsDelight Ah, don't worry mate. As a writer myself I know all too well the pains of mixing up the names of houses, castles they live in and the lands they rule.
@@SupercutsDelightdon’t sweat it, man. These sort of small mistakes just add to the levity in these videos which are negative takes after all 😄 So it’s ultimately a good balance.
although season eight is worse, I still hate season seven more. Because it was the first time the show felt bad, and coming off of season six’s finale it was just so much more disappointing. I think by the time season eight rolled around I was at least half prepared for a terrible season
I agree 100%.. season 7 felt bad, and ended like "maybe season 8 could bring it home".... By S8 Winter's Night, I'd already begun laughing like patchface
People need to start giving season 6 a good hard look because it is nowhere near being a good season. Arya's scenes alone make my blood boil for how ridiculous and plain idiotic they were.
I rewatched season 2 of HotD recently and for all it's flaws: I had a MUCH better time with it than with season 7 of GoT. the comparison with S7 of GoT is a bit ridiculous imo
Nah it's fairly valid. S7 just hits harder cause we had a taste of what good GOT was like before the trainwreck. HOTD never had that opportunity cause it was lackluster since season 1 with a few exceptions.
I had to excuse myself to my office when I heard them say High Garden and thus the Reach are not renowned for their battle prowess. Biggest and potentially richest armies in Westeros but what fucking ever. Can forget about the Tarly’s and HighTowers too. THEY ARENT KNOWN FOR FIGHTING WARS EITHER. A show with them fighting wars would be unrealistic and silly DND, I agree 💀🔫
You forget how superstitious people are in Westeros. All the Freys dying there put it on the same level as the Night Fort with the Rat Cook and all the other haunted places.
An exhausting amount of time lol. I'm happy that people are enjoying the edit since I wanted every second to be worthwhile even though it's 90 minutes long.
Another thing, I remember YELLING for Jon to get on the fucking dragon in the Avengers episode. It made 0 sense for him to not just hop up and they leave. They made him directly responsible for losing our baby boy Viserion
Nothing, and I mean nothing, shown on screen throughout Arya’s entire Braavos plot makes it believable that she’s a Faceless Man let alone that she’s such a deadly, perfect assassin.
The thing that always made GoT so great was that even though you're in a fantasy world, the story and its plot were relatively grounded. Seasons 7 & 8 were just packed with spectacle and such little substance
Last comment I'll make: Voice part of the transformation would make sense if your entire body turns into that of the other person, which seems to be how this work. this would work because you would also have the vocal chords of that person. Faceless men work on magic, not disguises. They probably turn into people by harnessing blood magic (hence needing to kill the person and take their face.)
Dumb & Dumber playing Mount & Blade would be the most satisfying thing to watch since the Purple Wedding. They would be trying to conquer a Rhodok castle with an army entirely made up of Swadian cavalry. Or defend a Rhodok castle, by marching all of their infantry and crossbowmen IN FRONT OF THE CASTLE. Even if Highgarden was defended by an AI army set to stupid difficulty, it would still give Jaime's army hell for days if not weeks.
The Roseroad leads directly from King’s Landing to Highgarden but even if Jaime was able to mobilize an army to attack the Tyrells, it would be nearly impossible for a host that large not be spotted. The Tyrells would’ve had plenty of time to prepare for a siege if they made it that far.
32:25 Hotpie is the Prince who was promised he's smarter than littefinger unnerfed Varis combined he is a better fighter than Young Bariston, Arthur Dayne and Oberyn and has a better war stagetic mind than Stanis, Robert and Robb and will secretly become a faceless one and will take the throne from Daneris and rule Essos and Westeros
I can't remember if you addressed it in your original video, but Braavos was founded by escaped slaves, so Dany's activities would very much be of interest to them -- & no, Cersei isn't a slaver- so maybe an argument _could_ be made for a faction of the Iron Bank *_thinking_* about supporting her (at least long enough to get their loan repayments settled), as a means of keeping a foot in the door on the western continent - but Dany has actively fought against the slave-states in her part of Essos, shouldn't that intrigue the Braavosi? Unless there was a statement there to be made- about how moral foundational goals can get corrupted over time, or what economic & social impact Dany's rushed efforts have on the wider landscape, & how it would be seen as dangerous, even to those who might otherwise be potential allies - you know, one of the numerous invisible subplots that could have been better than what we got...
Season 4 has some diferences compared to the books but things still worked, I think it was more of an adaptation than a complete butcher of the plots. We didn't have Tysha revelation cause in the show it hasn't much impact, so they switched it into Shae that was Tyrion love in the show, but she ended up betraying him, so I think Tyrion could have become traumatized and evil with it. The battles at Castle Black was combined into one hudge battle and it worked pretty well. I think the story was still coherent with the books. The only main diference was Lady Stoneheart, but this could have been fixed later with an introduction or a substitution.
In the books, knights of Westeros are considered the best Warriors in the world, better than the Dothraki. Not to mention, the Dothraki wouldn’t be able to pierce a knights armor, as explained in season 1. That battle scene in the last season where the Dothraki steam roll the Lannisters army is ridiculous and not compatible with the books
Something to note right off the bat about the Freys is that it's _heavily_ implied that there will be a "too many dragons" situation once Walder Frey dies. And that would be a _far_ more fitting end for the Frey line than Arya just... poisoning everyone.
29:40, doesn't Jon know about Bran being alive through Sam, or are saying presumed dead because, well, the white walkers should've realistically dunked on him when he was beyond the wall?
I think this is one of those occasions where he might've confused the book and show. In the show Sam told Jon but in the book he stopped himself before he told because Bran and the Reeds made him swear he wouldn't tell anyone.
I don't appreciate you being so critical of the delightful Supercuts of the past. Always loved your videos!! That said, glad there's still people like me with enough furious anger at the end of GOT for an hour and a half legolashing, let's go! ❤❤❤❤ Ed.: Game of Freys should be a spinoff series.
This video will come across as nitpicking to some, but the funny part is that George ABSOLUTELY cares about things like this. Sometimes he bends the rules for dramatic effect but in general his characters don't just assassinate everyone in the Twins like its nothing.
Always assumed the whole Winterfell plot was just a case of the Stark kids being extremely bored because they had nothing to do, immediately seeing through Littlefinger‘s plot and just pretending that he could stir up conflict between them while they met off screen and laughed their asses off on how they fooled Littlefinger.
For me this is the worst season. S8 felt worse cause it was the last one but there is sooooo much in this season that felt so forced - and yes, there was a lot in s8 aswell, but here i felt it was the "jump the kraken" moment. Especially Arya/sansa annoys me to no end, and I liked some of the chemistry in the suicide squad but the reasoning behind going and how Dany saved them is just hahaha..
Everybody forgets the most obvious flaw in the “get a white plan”. You don’t need to travel that far, just kill somebody on the north side of the wall next to the gate (a criminal sentenced to death for example), stick the body in a cage and bring it back to the other side of the wall. The body will resurrect like the ones in season 1. This is in general the biggest plot hole in the books as well. They could of shown very lord in Westeros a white easily.
Dany's inability to use her dragons on Kings Landing without mass casualties is because, in the books, she doesn't have the same control over her dragons.
This is perfect, but for 12:11. I liked that the hound had not "accepted" the fire lord as his god, but he believes this to be the correct path to be on. He openly rejects religion at every point, yet he was the only one who saw visions in the fire when staying at the abandoned home of the two who helped him when he needed it. The hound was burnt as a child; it makes sense to why he wouldn't want to believe in a fire god, but I personally thought his journey was interesting and putting such a anti-religious person who rarely takes responsibility(minus looking after Arya) with The Brotherhood who use religion at every turn to explain why things happen. I would say the Hound and the Brotherhood share a similar outlook, they both do bad things for the betterment of themselves and sometimes others, the only difference is the hound is alone, while the brotherhood have a group setting to share the burden. The hound had met the brotherhood early in the story, which I personally enjoyed that the brotherhood who believed in a fire god would end up furthest north than most characters and for the man "kissed by fire" i think it makes sense. Great video though. This was the only thing that kinda bothered me, otherwise I'm going to binge your other videos on DoL videos :)
Every devoid of logic moment is why the books are probably taking so long. Writing so many characters POVs and having everything make sense has to be tough. In the show, the character count went way down so there weren't as many councilors around important characters to point out why their decisions would be foolish or not.
45:25 Totally agree. You know how some videogames will give you the option to kill off a character or spare them or whatever? And some you can tell that the creators expected you to kill them because they'll just kind of hang around the game and not add anything and just say generic stuff? Yeah, that's Bronn all of season 8.
It's always funny when they do have characters acknowledge how flawed and batshit crazy plans are, but then the other characters never offer a counter argument or reassure them it will work , they just shrug it off and laugh, or say "do you have a better plan" or it's a last resort. Basically it's so crazy it might work instead of characters decisions being grounded in logic and reason like in the early seasons
Season 7 and 8 is devoid of logic, it's just embarrassing. Season 6 is not the most logical thing ever too.. The fact that we went through this seasons is due to our love to the books, to the previous seasons and to incredibly good team of art workers and many other things. The writing and plot and lack of care for logic is just catastrophic. This 2 morons just didn't wanted to do this anymore and they were ok with delivering shitty, bad and lacking product.
Idk what politics have to do with D&D getting lazy and letting insecurities about their storytelling abilities take over any semblance of intrigue and logic in the story
and still wanted to portray them into a good light
Are people actually comparing HOTD S02 to the slop of later GOT seasons? I thought S02, while not perfect, didn't make me angry watching it.
i knew people though it was bad but comparing it to season 7 or 8 is a bit much xd
I want to like it but ive never seen a more drawn out show where the only drama seems manufactured on convenience and happenstance rather than action and consequence.
@@hnnsy I've heard people say completely the oposite xd that it had too much dialogue and it was borring and it didnt have enough dragons
Well, it made me angry while watching it. Also, why is 2 of the worst season of TV ever made the barometer for HOTD S2? Just because it's not S7 or S8 level doesn't mean it's not bad, it is.
Bron - who does nothing of import after saving Jaime - not dying at the Loot Train battle is actually f'king wild.
Arya does feel more like live-action Gotham's Batman or live-actin The Dark Knight Trilogy s Batman only a Little training and some unknown place visit that's all.

@@2301WAYNE All the reasons and explanations given in any Batman story IS plot armour. Its so overdone that plot armour is now one of Batman's superpowers lmao.
Batman should be the dictionary definition of plot armour
@@exploringwithkristen8065 While Batman like any other fictional character has instances where he does indeed have plot armor or PIS feats, it is not as often as people like to think. Most cases of Batman having these showings are taken out of context due to lack of knowledge or for the sake of proving a point. In actuality, Batman doesn’t have that many showings of PIS in modern day comics. Again, he does sometimes but not as often as people like to say he does.
HOTD season 2 still made sense and had compelling side characters, it just didn’t reach any payoff. Game of Thrones Season 7 was just bad.
And it was majorly fucked over by WB’s budget cuts
HOTD season 2 was just bad, as well. People will lie and tell you it was just missing the final two episodes and nothing more, but no, it was just bad television.
@@masterplokoon8803yeah but its also season 1/2 of GoT at its best. The first two episodes were some of the best of the series

The expedition beyond the wall was wild 😭🙏
Literally spent the entire episode thinking about how ass and illogical the episode was
The end reveal that they did all that and failed, lost a dragon and ensured the walls destruction, all to capture a Wight, a thing that cannot cross the magical wall anyway and then take it hundreds miles south to try impress another character that didn't even care
@HimselfMan96 I agree, it's a really cool idea, to expand on it a little, they're gonna go further north than any man has ever been and capture some of the first wights to ever turn, so much opportunity there
Moreover why did Danny go at all?
The Gendry-zips-through-the-universe montage was *chef's kiss*
1:00 It's not even that, GOT forgot the Lannisters gave Riverrun to the Freys. In the book, Tywin's sister, Genna, is married to Emmon Frey and the have 4 sons, one of them being sir Cleos Frey, whom we met in season 2. Emmon Frey holds Riverrun currently.
To be fair to Eminem Frey he didn’t have anything to do with the red wedding and never betrayed the starks,he fought for the lannisters, the whole war.
Holly molly. Now this is the length of video I expected out of this series
😂 I think you mean ‘holy moly.’
A) Having Daario, Grey Work, and Arya infiltrate King’s Landing would’ve been incredible
B) Having NK/Euron kill Dany leaving Jon with Rhaegal and having him become the mad Targaryan would’ve been incredible. First life Stark, second life Targaryan-the song of ice and fire

I dont get why ppl are such fans of Arya in the show. For me, she ruins it in many ways. From stealing jons final boss fight to boring ass story lines like the house of black and white.

Audiences saying HOTD S2 was as bad as S7 & 8 need to watch this video.

HOTD so far has been hindered by COVID and a writers strike and it STILL turned out a thousand times better than GOTs last two seasons.

It is worst than season 8 lmao
Awesome video. The Gendry scene, fookin' brilliant.
Daemon's arc lmao
Remember those who reduced us to this - remember and hate.

I rewatched season 2 of HotD recently and for all it's flaws: I had a MUCH better time with it than with season 7 of GoT. the comparison with S7 of GoT is a bit ridiculous imo
Not really, it's all bad.
17:16 “If I was Dany…” 😂😂😂 WHY, Supercuts? This part killed me. 💀😂😂
I Do have to say though, that the meeting where Sam was like hey guys what if we do a Democracy and they all were like "hahahaha stfu you muppet"
Wait what do you have to say though 😭 lmao you only repeated what happened in the scene
Wait that transition at 6:15 was sick. You deserve a like and sub just for that.
Gendry becoming The Flash destroyed me
This was so well done and I adore how you edit. Honestly if you decide to re-do more I'll gladly watch :) .
That nitro-boosted horse really caught me off guard. Brilliant
Man, you could make a rewriting Game of Thrones series. Starting from where It all went wrong (Season 5), and giving the show a worth finale.
(4)
That battle scene in the last season where the Dothraki steam roll the Lannisters army is ridiculous and not compatible with the books
just a word of appreciation to find those 0.5 clips from GOT or random media to match the narration, must’ve taken a LONG time for a 90 min video
Spreading conflict like sauce on a pizza. Perfect.
That Gendry speed running sequence had me laughing waaay too hard.
Something to note right off the bat about the Freys is that it's _heavily_ implied that there will be a "too many dragons" situation once Walder Frey dies. And that would be a _far_ more fitting end for the Frey line than Arya just... poisoning everyone.
I hated it. Felt dumb after watching it. So many random plot holes and just non sense. What a mistake to pay for this
29:40, doesn't Jon know about Bran being alive through Sam, or are saying presumed dead because, well, the white walkers should've realistically dunked on him when he was beyond the wall?
I think this is one of those occasions where he might've confused the book and show. In the show Sam told Jon but in the book he stopped himself before he told because Bran and the Reeds made him swear he wouldn't tell anyone.
Also light cavalry never beat heavy infantry in real life. The Dothraki would get washed by any real force.
I am staggered you're still making GoT content and people are still watching it. The show is so old now people!

Best editing and great references yet!

I blame GRRM. hes not gonna make it. He would be finished before his creation.
I always found it funny that thoros froze to death and then beric instantly lights a fire and burns his boddy
Every devoid of logic moment is why the books are probably taking so long. Writing so many characters POVs and having everything make sense has to be tough. In the show, the character count went way down so there weren't as many councilors around important characters to point out why their decisions would be foolish or not.
YT: "So.. HOW devoid of logic is Season 7 actually?"
Fans: "Yes!"
Btw if Im cersei there is no way Im letting danny and her dragons leave kings landing alive, I would have scorpions in the bushes ready for them

Totally agree.
