I thought Beyond Creation was headed down the path of so many tech death bands, which is to become more and more bland and uninspired as time goes on. This record is a complete divergence from that path and the most musical / inspired they have ever sounded. Album of the year, for me.

If there’s a word to describe the entire album, in his complexity, I think that word is “phenomenal”.
You guys are fucking phenomenal, your culture music is really big and it contains everything. Classic music, techniques, speed, melodies, feelings and emotions, thoughts, ideas, love for Mother Earth. My mind is blowing away listening to this new masterpiece. Boucher did some pretty awesome work at drum with multiple styles, Hugo (I’m sorry, again, you are the best bassist I’ve ever heard) you excited me like nothing can excite me. Kevin and Simon, I have no words for you. The ability to tap everywhere on the guitar, maintaining the perfect sound and tonality, destructs my mind. This album is perfect. The orchestral line in the first track, the clean guitar parts, growl and scream that transfer to me the love for this music. I repeat, this album is perfect. In his complexity, is PHENOMENAL. Thank you, keep writing, keep composing, keep doing great music. Metal music needs you.

The entire album is fantastic. The last minute of surfaces echoes is one of my top 3 sections in the record.

I spent a total £210 on a pre order bundle for this album. Best fucking £210 I've ever spent

Ahhh those Gary Moore-ish guitar parts at 23:00-24:00 ... Also Hugo is really close to Forest's style and ability (what a challenge to even approach Dominic's skill level!) but I think puts more feeling into the whole thing , it melts my brain , my heart , my ass , my testicles .. everything .

I'm glad that I did. This album made the trip to Richmond Hill easier to endure! 😄

And to think Gorod's new album is also dropping in only a few days after so many good tech death and prog releases this year... we're really getting spoiled, aren't we?

These guys are seriously talented and actually have some seriously well thought out and just uncommonly brilliant lyrics. These guys, archspire, and decrepit birth are doing some cutting edge shit. 20 out of 10 on scale of 1 to 10

Bought the CD impusilvely last week and have been listening to it a lot since then. Had listen to couple songs here on you tube before and was feeling kind of indifferent to it (don't know why). Anyway, glad I bought the album because it has grown on me.

I can't believe the tech deth community doesn't like this album. Its so jazzy with super deep feels. I thought this was their best album yet for sure. So esoteric. I love it

You said it yourself, it's the Jazz element. I still like this album a lot, and think it's very well put together, but if you're talking strictly tech death than its only natural that this album won't fully scratch that itch.
