Alhumdulillah I just had a few days of deep experience of human fortitude and strength in the most difficult and challenging human experience. The irony, the place is called: Lost City. Here is a masjid the center pierce of community engagement. There are 174 little children bundled into 4 classrooms. Fed daily before the teachers teach and play. The teachers some are products of their own challenges and rejection but their therapy was healing and serving these children. On the same masjid complex: adult classes for adults, drug dependent, abuse, abandon babies, street children and label 🏷 it will find it on some victim. The miracle is hope,faith in humanity even the most rejection and dejected. The point is in the darkest corner Allah Ta'ala's praise, beautiful names and hope drives people...we never lose hope in ourselves, our fellowbeings and above all Allah Ta'ala .
OMG! Dr. Jaffe, I cried suddenly when u finished a lady's story cured cancer! I have a Bro. who has brain/emotionally damaged and we have troubled relationship, we hate each other but I found now I'd never loved him no matter what! Thank u for the story, she was like me!
Subhanallah. I too have perceived un/consciously injury when I give a massage, but no where close to the level described here. Thank you for expanding my knowledge on the achievable possibilities available. This podcast is a jem for the seeker.
she knew she was withholding love as a consequence when they didnt give her what she felt she deserved: respect. conditional love with a spouse; unconditional with your child. i used to do this until i listened to this man, because i dont want to make myself ill. i try to diminish ego, to stop demanding, and just love unconditionally as god does for all humans.

At 40:47 Dr jaffe says that those who wish to "leave" don't realise "It's the same over there" - I'm puzzled by this. What does he mean by that? When we leave this world and enter the next how and why is it the same?
I think he means we take the same problems with us. Whatever degree of peace we reach in our soul in this world is the degree of peace that we will have in the next. For this reason we need to work on our inner peace, surrender and unconditional love in this life- so we may take that with us to the next. Next life is the life of the grave and we sit with whatever we did in this life (good or bad) until judgment day.
