At 1:02:40 are we not guilty of always mythologising dajal by adorning and giving him a mythical aura in all the talks that youths go to when they attend masjid talks on end of times. Ironically, by studying dajal we usually mythologise and give hin too much capacity than he really has.
Ni zal anything can be “mythologized,” but it’s better to focus on the Hadith of the Nabi ﷺ and not to add stories and tales to it. The most valuable mention, in my opinion, is the advice that the prophet ﷺ gave that if the dajjal appears we should continue on our business. In this way, we shouldn’t fantasize about him either. Allah knows best
I know this about Al Ghazali: he is the one who killed the Age of Enlightenment in Islam initiated after the conquest of Andalusia by the Berbers of North Africa.
Dear Sheykh, I love you for Allahs sake and I have been watching your lectures everyday. They are really helpful and profitable. I would even be so happy to meet you one day. But I had a question, why do you think that Imam Al Bukhari is of Turkish origin, because nowadays Bukhara and Samarkand belong to Uzbekistan? These cities were populated throughout the History by Tajik (Iranian) people. And even today more than half of their population are Tajik (Iranian) people and they speak in Persian as their mother tongue. Moreover almost all the Historians have recognised Imam Al Bukhari, Imam Abu Hanifa, Imam Tirmidzi as Persian 'Alims (of course except some Turkish Historians who have been distorting the History). The reason why I do write such a comment is that, I find it not beneficial and it is disinformation. I will not offend anyone and am not accusing you, my dear Sheykh but I also don't want to be offended.
Vijav, for his time, he has provided building blocks for thinkers, he gives you the platform on which you can transport whatever you wish. In a scientific research and philosophical thinking it’s important to have a method. if you don’t have a method you’re not gonna get the same result , because everything you’re doing is random. Just because you don’t understand something it doesn’t mean that it’s not worth anything.it might be because you’re not in the wave you don’t feel the same way as others. Or alternatively you’re just being a silly poppadom
Al ghazali is greater than you.He passed away thousand years ago but his name still well known. How about you when you passed away. Do people recognised you after few years.
Vijay Malleta it is more complicated than that. it is a philosophical argument about the origin of the laws of cause and effect, which also include the laws of nature: physics, chemistry, biology etc. try to imagine it like this: a certain input A (cause) results in an output B (effect), the latter forms again an input, which results in output C (effect following B) and so on. Is it that A has the intrinsic activity/property to form B, thus claiming that B totally depends on A (without the direct involvment of Allah)? claiming that would mean that you deprive Allah of his totallytary/absolute/infinite power and rulings, because then Allah creates A (with a potential to give an output itself) and lets A do all the job from there on (thus no direct involvment of Allah, meaning his power ad ruling is not absolute/infinite). However, we say that Allah does not give A the intrinsic potential to give an output B, but output B (and C, and D and so on) is (directly) totally dependent on Allah, and Allah has put the A, B, C and so on in that linear sequence because Allah whishes that way. Allah uses A only as a sham prior to B. Again your example with the fire and cotton: it is not that cotton melts (output B) because of the fire (input A), but because the cotton asks permission to Allah to melt because it is near the fire (B follows A, BUT not necessarily) and Allah gives the permission to melt. It is the same as in the qur'an when prophet Ibrahim (a.s) is trown into the fire, and Allah says to the fire: be cool and peaceful to ibrahim (21/69).
The only question I have from you is. Why you shave your moustache and leave the bear untouched . Prove hazrat Mohammad did the same and reason behind it , was moustache dirty or avoid or gets dirty while you drink or eat . Let’s solve this first
