I've always wondered why "Speed King" Nate drove so slow with his GTO.
As a kid I always thought he was outright scared of his car whereas I was driving at 320 mph in a R34 Skyline hitting the nitrous even through the turns.
That is until I managed to get his GTO on my second playthrough and decided to run it through it's paces and I gotta say, Nate was right to be scared of his own car 😂

The race is not challenging. The only challenging thing is handling that car. Even a pro goes nuts in that thing.

not in speed challenges, definitely not in speed challenges, get the game (the 360/ps3/pc versions i think, i dont know if the bonus race day mode is on the other versions like ps2 and wii)
go to the nitrocide event on race day mode and for the speed car, find the challenger

You need precision with the steering and the throttle. When you got a joystick maybe you keep the car in speed challenge, but in case you got a keybord... *inserting GTO in drag race*

I got a pontiac gto to play in a roblox simcade, Midnight Racing Tokyo (really its actually not a bad game) , I was planning to use it for highway races, even if it doesnt have the most horsepower in the game, front and rear wheels have bad grip. Understeery, but will 100% spin out if going above 4000 RPM. I play on keyboard and driving this thing in the C1 highway is frustrating, you need knowledge to know which hills to climb while revving under 4000 RPM in order not to spin out. Even so, the pontiac gto is still fun even if you don't have a controller

You can win on a pontiac if you get used to it or play on the steering wheel. Even Ryo can be easily defeated on this car
