How did we help Nala with her leash manners?
Left turns. Yup, used left turns to help her learn to stop pulling and doing the serpentine weaving out in front.
While I taught her and her owners some things to work on to address leash manners they weren’t working for the team, so we are adjusting. While Nala is with me for a week I will really get to see who she is and how she learns in a much more in depth way than just a couple in home lessons would provide. I am able to find techniques that will work for her and her owners to reach their goals. Today, it was left turns.
