Lovely work, thank you so much for the video, it was really easy to follow along as a beginner. You give very clear and concise instructions. Thanks again
I've made my first crochet project with this! Thank you so much. I did have to look for another way to do an invisible join because I couldn't seem to understand your way without increasing (but I understand that's a beginners issue! ) - after I had figured out a way for me to join that worked for me, it was simple to follow and to crochet. I chose a pretty leaf button - it was also my first time going button shopping and that was also quite fun! Now I have a way to protect my book in my bag... Thank you for sharing your craft! :)
An idea to keep your yarn and project in the frame, you could put tape down around the area your camera is recording or a wet erase marker! Great tutorial, def going in the crochet bible I keep lol!
Hi Noodle, thank you for the tips! I have worked on my set up for a while and it's still a work in process. I'll keep those ideas in mind. I work full time still and do this as a hobby at the moment. I appreciate your helpful tips, thanks! Tag me on your Bible project, id love to see it 💕💕
Awesome! That's great to hear 😊 I'd love to see a picture of it, can you show me on one of my social media pages? You can see my links on the video description. Thanks!!
Such a beautiful pattern, thank you so much it was really easy for me to follow the tutorial and I wanna ask your permission, can I use this pattern for my small business? 🤗🤗
Hi Fernanda, I'm so happy you like it. The pattern belongs to me so I would ask you to link to my channel if you mention it, but you can show and use any items you create and sell created items as well. Thank you!
Hi yes you can use acrylic yarn also whatever you have will work great. Cotton is my favorite since it's very durable and doesn't stretch much over time but acrylic will be beautiful as well. Enjoy!
Hi I love the tutorial, it’s so easy to follow and this is my first project ever! Though I just wanted to know how did you join going from royal ridge back to 1/2 double stitches because mine stitches keep getting progressively reduce as I’m crocheting and now the top ended up being smaller than the base 😅
Hi Vy I'm excited that you chose one of my patterns as your first project! Thanks for the comment 😊 I think your loosing a stitch when you join. Because you are a beginner, I think you should just join with a slip stitch , then chain 1 and work your first stitch into the same stitch you joined into. That will have a more noticeable seam but that's ok. Be careful not to crochet into the chain when you get back around to join again. Place a stitch marker in your first stitch or just mark it with a scrap piece of yarn that way you won't miss it. Let me know if this fixes your joining issue. And if the royal ridge keeps giving you trouble, try the other book sleeve tutorial I have first, the pink one. It will be good practice with basic stitches to help you get started :).
th-cam.com/users/clipUgkx6ZNbfepI6hQV1MvIocveyeQxG4-YOOcI this is were I briefly show a traditional join, you can do this instead of the special join I show in the video. I do the special join so the seam is less noticeable but both will work.

Also if your camera quality it good enough (it looks good to me) you can zoom in in post edits which may be easier
Sorry if that sounds critical, I study educational technology so it’s just some editing tips I’ve picked up!

Thank you 💖💖💖 I am so glad you enjoyed it!
Uhmmm I don’t know exactly where I went wrong but I’m getting the royal ridge on the inside instead of the outside 🥲
