Tom and Adam had their lines completed when they asked Dax to join them to feature on the song. The original song was called WHITE PEOPLE. Dax sent his lines after the song was complete and Tom and Adam thought about changing their lyrics after Dax's because it was so long and different. But they decided to keep their original lyrics and let Dax's lines steal the show. I loved that! 💕💕

I love Dax and Tom loved his part. They go way back, both born in Canada, so there’s that as well. He’s one of my favs. I love Adam too cause he absolutely hated Tom but hashed it out like a man. This was my 1st introduction to Tom & I didn't listen to rap other than a few Slim Shady songs but I hated rap. I listened because title was Black & White (yeah I'm a 52 white woman). So I was curious, had listen a few times because captions couldn't keep up lol. But I caught all of it & understood it was about stereotypes...what they paint all of us to be which is so far from the actual truth, another Democratic divide. And I was intrigued so I subbed to all of them. I went down Tom's rabbit hole & have enjoyed the ride. He says what most of us think in every song. HOG4LIFE❤❤.

He doubled down with White Boy which really angered the internet trolls. This House was his response to that one. Those songs are the foundation of the Tom we know today.

Agree to disagree . . . who knew? People with differing viewpoints or opinions can actually have reasonable and civil discussions without name-calling and rock-throwing. That's the adults in the room. Having said that - I believe that "it is what it is". Reality is not determined by what we believe it to be . . . it just is. The amount of success you will ultimately have will be in proportion to your ability to accurately perceive and understand "what it is". If two people are in disagreement about something, there are 3 possible "outcomes" if you will. 1) Person A is wrong. 2) Person B is wrong. 3) BOTH persons are wrong. I believe that if you try to add a fourth possible outcome of 4) BOTH persons are right, you have opened the door to chaos because "it is what it is" regardless of either person's perceptions. IMHO. I had only heard 3 songs from Adam Calhoun before Tom and Adam squashed their beef and put out The Brave 1. Then they surprised us last year with The Brave 2 (this is the best album of 2023, not one song on the album that you could say it's just ok. Tom says he doesn't care if you love his music or hate it, it's when it doesn't pull an emotional response from someone that Tom gets upset. Tom did 2 other songs with Dax before this but they never met in person until this video shoot. "Blame The Rappers" and "Propaganda." Blame the Rappers is on Tom's channel and Propaganda is on Dax's yt channel. (Dax just announced he is going on tour with Joyner Lucas and Millyz and Dax released a music video for his song "Jay Z Blueprint 2 Remx.") Adam has "Fight Music," "Shook Remix," and he is on a song with a new artist, named JamWayne, and the song is called "Ready." Those all came out after The Brave 2. Another song to check out from Adam is "Ramble On." Adam has become a better man since his daughter was born and he got married.

No you’re not wrong, most people agree Dax owned this song with Tom coming in second. Adam did ok but his bars just did not hold up to what the other brought to the table that day but that’s ok. If you want to see a great song where Adam and Tom both shine about as bright watch American Flags, that video is awesome and Nova did some great work also!
"Did Tom get a lot of hate for this" Yes... but not from where you'd expect. This song, "American Flags", and "End of the World" triggered Tom and Adam's long time friend and collaborator, Ryan Upchurch... HARD REALLY HARD Off his damn rocker hard. Upchurch is pretty much the king of country-rap and was a huge player in independent rap. But he's fallen off the last 3-4 years... He now struggles to get 1 Million views on a video, while Tom gets over 1 Million in the first day of release. Many speculate, and I'm inclined to agree) Church may have a drug problem, due to the way he's acting in streamed videos and stuff.... mumbling, eye contact issues, appearing to have a bit of the nod. Anyway... Church was so bothered by the themes of those 3 songs, he dropped a diss track on Tom ("Why Boys") about a month ago (that has also struggled to get views) and then dropped a couple videos where he was just talking... but he was saying some REALLY bad things about Adam. Adam actually just responded via video message about 2 hours ago... It's ugly, it's disappointing, and I hope church gets himself sorted out, as he's burning bridges with all of his long time friends... (Tom, Adam, Struggle Jennings, Jelly Roll, etc... ) independent artists are stronger together, than apart. But he's chasing away his friends and his fans, the "Creek Squad", just co-sign all the delusional things he's saying, and the lies he throws out to try and make himself the victim.... and attack anyone who doesn't treat church like god, in comment sections... It's sad... and if Church does indeed have a drug problem, they're probably gonna get him killed. And no... Tom wont respond to the Diss track... he doesn't respond to Diss tacks (See: "No Response", and "Don't look Down" as those explain why he doesn't respond), especially when the artist who drops it is clearly just trying to promote their new record (which church released a couple weeks after the diss track)
So Adam and Tom lived together for like 40 days or something. Worked out and ran every morning. And made Brave 2 which was a #1 billboard rap album. A year after brave 1 hit #1. So dax sent his part to Tom and it was like 3 times as long. So tom and adam had to go right back to work and start writing to ebrn uo the track. I wouldn't be surprised if they rewrote their whole thing because dax fucking bodied this
Oh, no -- I can't follow you now that you said Dax was the star.... LOL! If I remember correctly, I think the general consensus was that Dax took over. And there's a reason why Tom closed the video with Dax's part. (I call myself a Hog Fry, meaning that I follow videos related to Tom MacDonald and to Home Free. As funny as it may seem, there appears to be a lot of us.)
I absolutely love Tom. But I agree, Dax stole this song!! His verse is amazing!! Something I learned a long time ago, you can only TAKE offense, you can never really GIVE offense. It all comes down to how the receiver views what's said. Like you said, nasty comments just roll off because you choose not to let it affect you.
Dax verse is way deeper and meaningful than Tom and Adams...which of course better when take in effect. Don't know if familiar with Dax, done few songs with Tom, but also his song "to be a man" is huge...did a mega mix too along a mix with Darius Rucker, Dax is an incredible artist and hell of a rapper, also good amount of songs touching on God...but yeah personally annoys me a little how much attention Dax gets on this compared to them, I get it and best actual verse but the whole "took the song" stuff and forgot about the others mentality just bugs me, which most people say...idk maybe just me but yeah lol doesn't bother me just especially how everyone is almost identical with how reactbor comment, idk just constantly observing society I guess, idk cant explain in a comment lol, good reaction tho and glad enjoyed it. You may have been a liberal 20 years ago - but not so much anymore. You just love people and common sense. You wouldn't fit in with most of what "liberals" consider themselves now. TIP - you can push the back arrow key on your keyboard to rewind 5 seconds. Hit it twice for 10 seconds and so on. The fwd arrow skips fwd 5 seconds. UP/DOWN arrows will control your volume. The rewind feature will help you move back quickly without having to click on the progress/status bar and guessing where to click.
When I use the back arrows, what happens is that the space bar won't work to ours play, so then I have to use the mouse to press play and I just get used to using the mouse. I'm working on this though. I'll get better at it.
Pausing is not bad... pausing in the middle of a line is. You missed a lot of great bars reacting to the first half and pausing mid-sentence on the punchline. You did it on every one of Dax's Bars in his verse Wait until a single rhyme plays out... pause, react to what was said... then continue. And yes... Dax absolutely stole this song.... much like Nova stole "Chrome"
@nz4ever yeah, this album Tom introduced Speed as a major facet of his arsenal. American flags was the first single and it was on a new level... then this track.... just saying, the rhyme is the giveaway, when it changes... you're good.... Dax's verse can be hard too because it's not just like 4 rhymes, he'll do like 6/8/10... it's more freeflowing that Adam's or Toms that are much more ABABCDCD structured.

He doubled down with White Boy which really angered the internet trolls. This House was his response to that one. Those songs are the foundation of the Tom we know today.

Agree to disagree . . . who knew? People with differing viewpoints or opinions can actually have reasonable and civil discussions without name-calling and rock-throwing. That's the adults in the room. Having said that - I believe that "it is what it is". Reality is not determined by what we believe it to be . . . it just is. The amount of success you will ultimately have will be in proportion to your ability to accurately perceive and understand "what it is". If two people are in disagreement about something, there are 3 possible "outcomes" if you will. 1) Person A is wrong. 2) Person B is wrong. 3) BOTH persons are wrong. I believe that if you try to add a fourth possible outcome of 4) BOTH persons are right, you have opened the door to chaos because "it is what it is" regardless of either person's perceptions. IMHO. Liked/subbed/belled.

I had only heard 3 songs from Adam Calhoun before Tom and Adam squashed their beef and put out The Brave 1. Then they surprised us last year with The Brave 2 (this is the best album of 2023, not one song on the album that you could say it's just ok. Tom says he doesn't care if you love his music or hate it, it's when it doesn't pull an emotional response from someone that Tom gets upset.
Tom did 2 other songs with Dax before this but they never met in person until this video shoot. "Blame The Rappers" and "Propaganda." Blame the Rappers is on Tom's channel and Propaganda is on Dax's yt channel.
(Dax just announced he is going on tour with Joyner Lucas and Millyz and Dax released a music video for his song "Jay Z Blueprint 2 Remx.")
Adam has "Fight Music," "Shook Remix," and he is on a song with a new artist, named JamWayne, and the song is called "Ready." Those all came out after The Brave 2. Another song to check out from Adam is "Ramble On." Adam has become a better man since his daughter was born and he got married.

No you’re not wrong, most people agree Dax owned this song with Tom coming in second. Adam did ok but his bars just did not hold up to what the other brought to the table that day but that’s ok. If you want to see a great song where Adam and Tom both shine about as bright watch American Flags, that video is awesome and Nova did some great work also!

Upchurch is pretty much the king of country-rap and was a huge player in independent rap. But he's fallen off the last 3-4 years...
He now struggles to get 1 Million views on a video, while Tom gets over 1 Million in the first day of release.
Many speculate, and I'm inclined to agree) Church may have a drug problem, due to the way he's acting in streamed videos and stuff.... mumbling, eye contact issues, appearing to have a bit of the nod.
Anyway... Church was so bothered by the themes of those 3 songs, he dropped a diss track on Tom ("Why Boys") about a month ago (that has also struggled to get views) and then dropped a couple videos where he was just talking... but he was saying some REALLY bad things about Adam.
Adam actually just responded via video message about 2 hours ago...
It's ugly, it's disappointing, and I hope church gets himself sorted out, as he's burning bridges with all of his long time friends... (Tom, Adam, Struggle Jennings, Jelly Roll, etc... ) independent artists are stronger together, than apart.
But he's chasing away his friends and his fans, the "Creek Squad", just co-sign all the delusional things he's saying, and the lies he throws out to try and make himself the victim.... and attack anyone who doesn't treat church like god, in comment sections... It's sad... and if Church does indeed have a drug problem, they're probably gonna get him killed.
And no... Tom wont respond to the Diss track... he doesn't respond to Diss tacks (See: "No Response", and "Don't look Down" as those explain why he doesn't respond), especially when the artist who drops it is clearly just trying to promote their new record (which church released a couple weeks after the diss track)

I wouldn't be surprised if they rewrote their whole thing because dax fucking bodied this

And there's a reason why Tom closed the video with Dax's part. (I call myself a Hog Fry, meaning that I follow videos related to Tom MacDonald and to Home Free. As funny as it may seem, there appears to be a lot of us.)

Dax verse is way deeper and meaningful than Tom and Adams...which of course better when take in effect. Don't know if familiar with Dax, done few songs with Tom, but also his song "to be a man" is huge...did a mega mix too along a mix with Darius Rucker, Dax is an incredible artist and hell of a rapper, also good amount of songs touching on God...but yeah personally annoys me a little how much attention Dax gets on this compared to them, I get it and best actual verse but the whole "took the song" stuff and forgot about the others mentality just bugs me, which most people say...idk maybe just me but yeah lol doesn't bother me just especially how everyone is almost identical with how reactbor comment, idk just constantly observing society I guess, idk cant explain in a comment lol, good reaction tho and glad enjoyed it. You may have been a liberal 20 years ago - but not so much anymore. You just love people and common sense. You wouldn't fit in with most of what "liberals" consider themselves now.
TIP - you can push the back arrow key on your keyboard to rewind 5 seconds. Hit it twice for 10 seconds and so on. The fwd arrow skips fwd 5 seconds. UP/DOWN arrows will control your volume.
The rewind feature will help you move back quickly without having to click on the progress/status bar and guessing where to click.
When I use the back arrows, what happens is that the space bar won't work to ours play, so then I have to use the mouse to press play and I just get used to using the mouse. I'm working on this though. I'll get better at it.
Pausing is not bad... pausing in the middle of a line is.

just saying, the rhyme is the giveaway, when it changes... you're good.... Dax's verse can be hard too because it's not just like 4 rhymes, he'll do like 6/8/10... it's more freeflowing that Adam's or Toms that are much more ABABCDCD structured.
