I'm first going to note that I prefer the Tore Johansson mix of this Tahiti 80 cover to A.R. Kane's original; that particular mix brings out the jazz-bent futuristic disco sounds-I totally dig this-which are present here but obscured by a bunch of other (imo) unneccessary sounds. (continued)
And maybe it's just me, but Alex Ayuli's vocals on the original are too sluggish and the singing is rarely on-pitch-they were definitely more suitable for the groups dream pop songs. IMO, Tahiti 80's singer has the perfect voice for this: smooth, cooing, luscious, and honey sweet.
To ERENIX Good french indeed ! only a small mistake : "Cette chanson est apaisante" or "ce chant est apaisant" (in this case the first one is more appropriate, you were right ! ). Good luck with your practice of french, you gave me the opportunity to practice my english...
