@@lupecruz1940 I am 99% sure that everything went well, The brunch is still growing, The leaves on it in full blooming, I am so happy🤗 just waiting a bit longef to takę dressing off
Hi just wanted to confirm how long we should keep the plastic around the branches? Your video says 3 weeks but in one of the comments you replied that it takes 2-3 months to heal. Thank you!!!
That's depend upon type of plant and climatic condition . It's a hibiscus plant that already have some gum like substance in its skin . That's make it heal faster . In winter season it heal more easily .
Thank you, it was easy to do using plastic strips. How long should it take (for a branch same size as in your video) in a Silver Oak tree to be fixed? If I fixed it after 3 days will the branch die?
Normally it will take 1 or 2 months , but its success rate is depent upon climate . In Summer, low success rate than monsoon . And it should done within 1 days, if it is possible do immediately after its broken . Dry of broken wount never rejoined . Hope success ✌️✌️
@@tropicalhorticultureandgar7166 HELP! Hi, I managed to get a lemon 🍋 tree to sprout 🌱 from seed, now it's about 6 or so centimeters but the stem snapped when its pot got hit with a ball, I wrapped it with cotton and sprayed some water 💦 on the cotton, would that save my lemon tree, or do I say good bye to it and quit gardening, cause my heart is broken in half just like my newly grown lemon tree 🌲 please help 😭

Oh very sad.... Cotton doesn't hold water longer period of time ,if hot climate it becomes dry quickly . Usually grafting tape used for these . Cover immediately with plastic band for reduce evaporation . It's will be alright
Electrical tape is the best. It is streatchy and after pulling it tight around limb it wants to shrink back making even tighter waterproof layer which one wants to stop evaporation and bacterial ingress.
I just did this today for or my monstera plant. I snapped it from trying to secure the branches straight. Hopefully it will take .
Woww this is all wat I want for my marigold plant 😊
Hi, I had to do it this morning for my plum tree. Fingers cross that it will succeed 🤞
Did it ?

Hi, does this work for seedlings too? I have a wisteria seedling and one of its branches is breaking so I might try this and see if it works.
Seedlings generally too soft . So GRAFTING CLIPS Is More suitable for that .
@@tropicalhorticultureandgar7166 Ok thanks!!

can i use this method for big tree 🌴
Sure
Can I use sellotape instead of plastic cover?pls reply
Pls don't use bcz bark will damage in the removing time
Electrical tape is the best. It is streatchy and after pulling it tight around limb it wants to shrink back making even tighter waterproof layer which one wants to stop evaporation and bacterial ingress.
But there's a problem electric tape is sticky . At the time of removal tape leave away with bark of that stem
@@tropicalhorticultureandgar7166 that makes sense. I’ll stick to the plastic method.
