Yes, Vin man was absolutely right! The bowing down or putting your hands behind you to greet elderly is an integral part of Ghanaian culture particularly in the northern region, they take it way seriously than the south. I recall parents used to scold on us when we forget to bow down while greeting elderly folks. Coming to America, in numerous occasions I tried to behave in that manner towards American elder folks, but it never seems to work out for me because people see it as weird. Thank you for this informative content, it really brings more memory back. ✌❤
