I don't care what she does I've always loved her and I think she's talented and beautiful. I love James I wish they could've made it but.....things happen. They have 2 wonderful kids and almost 12 years of love, and turmoil. They'll never forget❤

OMG...dump this AI narrator. Pronunciations get worse about halfway through. So...who was the love of her life?? Did I miss it? I kept replaying the last 10 or 12 minutes...I didn't hear anything of the sort. Unless the guy's name was so butchered by this subpar narrator I just didn't recognize it.

Justin Howard - he goes as deep - Neil Young , Len Cohen
They are my picks . Their lyrics.
One other female - Joni Mitchell .
But , the three songs by the two ladies - Carly , and, Janis spoke to my soul the most.
Ha ha - I have been married three times , I guess I should have listened closer to Carly’s first hit about her observations regarding marriage.

@@thefamouspeopleus I think "Anticipation" is well written lyrically, but to stand the test of time would probably be "Why" because it sounds modern like it could be played on today's radio... Carly sounds absolutely lovely on it.

    She and Janis Ian
Had three songs I liked between them -
Ian’s s” Society’s child,” And,“ AT Seventeen,” ; Carly had one I liked ,” And you say it’s time we moved in together.”
    Other than that ??

Carly Simon and Janis Ian both had such a unique way of telling stories through their music. Do you think there's another artist today who captures emotion in their lyrics the way they did?
