Been using this oil in my 2012 Tacoma for a year and a half and before I switched it would be 1/2 quart low at the 5,000 mile change. Now doesn’t burn a drop and the engine is smooth and quiet. By far my favorite oil!

Most people are not mechanics. This makes it look like I can do it too. No fancy tools. YES! For the other people who have automatic wrenches. That's a fancy tool for someone who does not use it. Most people see that tool and say - shoot. I don't have that battery powered thing to loosen and unloosen. And that other tool other videos show to take off the filter? Come On! Most people don't have those. Still won't change my own oil, because I don't have the blocks lift the car.

Does your sport not have a shield underneath?

Yes, it does. I removed the shield before doing the oil change. However, it is really not necessary to remove it before oil change. There are two provided holes on the shield for oil drain and oil filter change respectively.

You made this look so easy so why does it take the mechanics so long to do lmfao.

WHAT??? you dipped the NEW filters rubber seal in the DIRTY oil. Thats a No No Bro.

      Hello Larry,
Thanks for your comment. No, you don’t soak the oil whole filter in the dirty oil. You just need to allow the rubber seal touch the oil-either used oil or fresh oil. This helps provide a good seal and also helps in easy removal during next oil change.

I’m guessing you have never changed your oil yourself. You always rub some of the old oil around the seal.
