The music in this film played an important role of making it a success. It gave the whole feel of the US and the life of the Chinese community there. This was how I felt there. The Director and producer captured this perfectly and you can only get it if you experienced it.
I love this movie very much .The movie is awesome . It had brought me back to the time when i stayed at my grandmum house because i watched it from her tv .
Thank you for your sharing Great job I visted the scenes too and captured photos of the Brooklyn Bridge (in 2005) 🌉🌉🌉I miss Vincent so much, i cried and cried 😭😭🌉
fantastic work buddy!! I just watched the film for the first time and was wondering where those spots are in the film, I recognize a few, then I saw your video, great job! really enjoy it, absolutely wonderful to see the then and now comparison. sentimental at its best!
Thank you for this. This movie is my all time favorite. Actually, I traveled NY, tracing the locations myself about 10 years ago. I am so thrilled to find you !
Thanks for putting all this. I love this movie very much and can almost remember most of the scripts of this movie. A really nice movie which almost I can't find any in recent years
Beautifully Done! Thank you for putting this together! Cheers! I wonder how the last scene (the restaurant by the ocean, where Chow Yun-Fat said "Table for Two") looks like now.
Very cool ! I love this movie. I was just checking google map where this unfortunate crime happened at 44 Market St. ...and I saw the 125 Madison St.building and thought it looks a lot like the one in the movie under the bridge..it is just as rundown now. As it turned out the actual one is just a block away.
Not sure of the EXACT location but the view shows the Brooklyn Bridge, around the "Two Bridges" neighborhood off the coast of the East River. It's labeled the East River Greenway maps.app.goo.gl/AFdPkRffP6313kao8 though the view seems to be further east of this mark. That much I can tell you. Hope you got this response in time, and can find it!
@@AsianFilmFanatic I think that restaurant does not exist anymore, the nearest possible is the one that located near the New York Aquarium, there is still some construction that extended into the sea.
@@henrywong5650 OK, It could be 2 or more different locations but I strongly believe one of them shows the *Belmar Fishing Club.* It's not Sampan but at the end, the panning shot before showing Sampan. It could also be Near the NY Aquarium but still can't find close enough visual matchings. There's at least 2 scenes with distinct backdrops, townhouses, lights.

You've done a great job !
Well done 👍
Awesome
I Joined a tour that was meant for "Auntums Tale Recapture" in 2005_
《回望秋天的童话》and went to most of the scenes of the movie..
The Chinese restaurant building now became a new hotel - 50 Bowery hotel.
Very impressive!
6:43 Why was Chow Yun Fat captured in stehe 2016 Google Map street view??
Was it a pure coincidence?
Or photoshop edit??

Great work on finding all these locations in NYC. But do you know where was the location for Sampan and the beach at the end of the movie?
Yup. th-cam.com/video/pJiPh8fqrtE/w-d-xo.html I tried pointing to Part 2 as much as possible.
How can you miss the Long Island Sampan!!! 😳😳
I looked, but could not find the spot. :(
Looking at the rocks, I kind of suspect Long Beach but I have yet to find matching landmarks.
