  • We return to Finland for another new band. But will the clowns be too much for Ginger? We shall see...

This artistic video is from the year 2006. It even won some prizes. POTF has been quite internationally famous band almost two decades for now. Very professional and versatile band. Marko Saaresto's voice is unique, especially his falsetto is beautiful. He's also native English speaker, because his mother is a Brit. Excellent pick from you. ⛄👍

I love how he moves on stage and sings with his hands, watch this one live, pure talent.

I first heard of Poets of the Fall back when their song "Late Goodbye" was featured on game Max Payne 2. I have seen them live at least twice.

This is a song about obsessive love. The gas mask symbolised that she was taking precautions against toxic relationships. But he spotted her vulnerability and tries to capture her heart in a cunning way but to no avail in the end.

I cannot recommend this band enough - yes they're not your typical 'heavy' Finnish band but musically there are countless examples of just really good stuff and Marko is an amazing vocalist.

I think this isn't just one of the best bands ever from Finland, but it is in general huge band with their mixed multilayered sounds and of course the lead singer has a very strong voice.

The story with the cards [beside his booth] tell a very very sad tale that weaves with the symbolism through the video. The realization of love, loss of innocence, the yearn for the wrong thing, running out of chances, getting what you want but not what you need and realizing what you've done but it's too late; the damage has been done and opportunities lost

I became a fan of this band after finishing the Max Payne game and listening to their song used on the end credits

Definitely check out the Alexander Theater sessions as some have suggested here. They are just amazing.

Daze from Poets of the Fall might be something that would tickle your ear drums. They've got plenty of great songs to choose from, and whatever you pick up you wont go wrong.

You guys are on a roll... A nice surprise to see you do Poets of the Fall. This song is haunting, and amazing. Once again I was lucky enough to see them live in Atlanta a few years ago at ProgPower USA. They were a nice surprise, an indie rock band at a progressive/power Metal festival. The promoter (Glenn) was a big fan of theirs, so he wanted them there that year.... Keep up the great work you two! Keep Rockin' Eh!
