This may be one of my favourite reactions to this song and this band. The Poets are my favourite band and you've absolutely captured exactly why.
Based on your comments while reading the lyrics, I strongly recommend you listen to their song 'Given and Denied'. I think it will hit close to home but also that you'll like it a lot. That said, there is no way to go wrong with their music and you are in for a real treat here because they can do pretty much any genre and Marko's voice is absolutely incredible. His falsetto is out of this world.

They are poets indeed. (I've always wanted to say that) There's no other band I can think of, the lyrics of which resonate so much with me and that I remember so clearly.
    Just one example:
"If all the isms and doctrines of life were a gentle breeze, instead of that usual judgmental freeze..." There's more to that quote, but I find it poignant enough to leave it at that and add: "If only."
'Signs of Life' is one of my favorite songs and I don't hear about if very often. Probably because it's a bonus track, but much like Ghost's 'Zenith' it's great.

There's several POTF songs i like: "Lift" "Sleep" "All The Way 4 U" "Stay" "Late Goodbye" "Temple Of Thought" "War" even songs from their brand new album Ghostlight that just came out this year. Totally agree with you about needing to know what the song is about! But when i got older i realized that the song is what I feel while listening it. First time watching your videos so good job xD Good example might be a song from Sonata Arctica. They had a new keyboard player and he had so big story in his head about the song Broken and heard from Tony what it was actually about and was not impressed 😆
Sorry have to edit. You talk so well about things and really hit my emotions. I never had childhood at all. Had to grow up fast to deal with adult issues. If I have a child I will make sure that they will have a time to be a child and still make sure they are ready for real life.

Liked the reaction, I like you enjoy the meaning of the lyrics,
Great songs have different meaning to each individual,
Like saying Beauty is in the eye of the beholder,
For me this song meant even more to me when i researched
the lyrics and understanding the different facets of the video.
The Tarot cards to the side of the Fortune teller change
    to give more meaning.
Without writing a Monologue, There is a video by Learn
A Logic on you tube that explains brilliantly the video and lyrics.
The ending Cor Cordis or Cordium (Heart of Hearts)
from the booth or the depths of you`re being, explains everything to me
What is really in you`re Heart of Hearts
