Teaching Rhyming through Reading

Did you know that by the time children enter kindergarten that they should be able to recognize and produce rhyming words?
One of the easiest ways to teach this important pre-reading skill is to read books with rhyming words to young children. Children will learn to identify and say the rhymes that they hear after repeated readings.
