I know Saga is beloved. But how is it they're not ten million times not more beloved? Yes their music is complex and you have to pay attention to a number of things all going on at once for it to all come together in your ears as they planned it out first on paper and then on their instruments. But it's all so sonically rich individually as well, so you needn't have a PHD in prog to derive immense pleasure from their compositions. But what the hell do I know. I do have a PHD in prog, so how could I reliably make that statement?
