Every time you create one of your vids I get to come along with a guy I've never met but dearly care for and admire. Thank you for including me/ us in your life. Deep respect for you!
I think you just found something you probably should always have on hand in your vehicle. A container ( several gallons) of water! Possibly a pump sprayer.. never know when time is of the essence!!🔥
Just wanted to say, I've been watching for years and I still get excited to see one of your videos pop up. It's so refreshing to see something pop up that's not about whatever the ridiculous topic of the day is. Please keep making original quality content, ITS GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!
I’m working for the same company down in Utah. The turn over has been incredible here, too. This is my first season doing this and I’m amazed at how careless, rude, and disrespectful so many campers are. Just some unbelievable behavior and we have had to get law enforcement involved. I hope the rest of your season is calm with a total lack of drama..😊
@@KellyeSmith-z3r For me it was, for several reasons. 1:Being able to sit still for a few months after constantly being on the move for 7 years has been a nice break. 2: Always have a spot to be in summer and don’t have to reserve, fight, or pray for an available FCFS. 3: Full hookups, so I can run my A/C continuously during the increasingly hot summers. 4: Very little use of propane. 5: Absolutely zero overhead. The only time I’m on the road is when I go get groceries and or run errands. 6: Saved a huge amount of money over the summer because no camping fees, minimal expenditures on propane and gas for my truck. Also, I will balance my previous comment by saying most campers are generally courteous and it only takes a few bad apples to upset the cart. Sadly, those are the ones that you remember. Most foreign campers are extremely nice and easy to work with. Many campers from the US are entitled, selfish, and rude, throwing a verbal temper tantrum when they can’t get their own way, like wanting to change their reserved site on a Friday night when the campground is 98% full. I’ve learned that many make a reservation anywhere in the campground to be assured they have a spot, then on arrival will throw a fit if they can’t get moved to another spot, which is often a FCFS, thereby taking a spot that is for legit FCFS campers ONLY. I’ve met a few very nice work campers that I’ve established what I think will be lasting friendships. There’s also quite a few work campers that leave without any kind of notice for various reasons, so the campground is generally short staffed all the time. I’ve been an RN for 30+ years, most recently a travel nurse since 2017. I took this summer off to see if this was a viable option for me to segue into since hospitals in the US are focused entirely on profit, to the detriment of patients and staff. I’ll be off all fall and winter to travel as I wish, which is my favorite time to roam as it’s much cooler, less bugs, and less campers in the road in general. Of course, YMMV. Happy trails!
You really are such an asset to anyone you work for. I can't believe the host that did absolutely no work at all. Your area is Beautiful. How nice people are visiting you. You deserve all the good things that come your way 🌻
You have outstanding work ethics. Thank you for keeping it safe and clean for all of us to enjoy. My daughter worked in the White River National Forest for her first Season, back in 2014. She is a WildLand Fire Fighter now. - British Gal living in America.
💐 Having lived in Colorado for twenty years, now relocated some twenty-four years later, I so appreciate your showcasing Colorado’s beautiful dainty state flower the Columbine.
There is something deeply satisfying watching you reclaim overgrown campsites. Colorado is getting a value from you far beyond the wages being paid to you.

Your video reminds me of a drive my husband saw some sheep and told our children-look at the cotton-😂-I laughed and told him that's sheep-they walk and cotton grows up out of the ground 😂😂😂😂😂we've had some good laughs evers since-that's been a good 50 years now 😂😂😂😂 I enjoy watching all your videos-GOD BLESS and stay safe 💜
You look like you are enjoying your job. Cannot wait to see you enjoying the hiking, fishing and sightseeing in the area. I do enjoy watching you clean up the overgrown campsites. Fun seeing that fox.

You do such a great job clearing those sites. It's so satisfying to watch. Glad the deer flies have let up, those were awful. True beauty surrounding the whole area. ✌️🤗
Wow!!! You are living in paradise! I enjoy watching you transform a campsite. I hope you enjoy the rest of your time there fishing and hiking. I look forward to your next video!
Wow. Such a beautiful area. You're really doing a nice job there. I bet they really appreciate all you have done. Nice to see that lil fox, and beautiful wild flowers. Take time to enjoy your days. 🙂👍
I really enjoy watching you do the site cleanups..I watch as many lawn channels as I do Nomads😂...so it's a nice blend. What a awesome place to call 'work' Thank you for sharing my friend I've yet to meet 😎 ✌️
You're such a responsible dude. They're going to beg you to come back every season. So great of Mike and Twilight. Just goes to show that when you put out good, you get back good. Longtime sub here, just love your channel.
Brian you never disappoint me with your scenes from nature. I know you are a hard worker and anyone who you work for is very fortunate! Keep up the good work😊
I guess someone never watched the old Smokey the Bear commercials. Hard to believe someone would leave embers burning up there. It looks like the person before you slacked a lot. You found a good little job, can't beat the view & at least there's no stinking fish!! Lol
You are missing out on great free food if you’re not Trout fishing!!! My word, those lakes and the White River are full of huge fish!! Trout are delicious and healthy food!! And there are many different delicious ways to prepare them! Smoking is always a good choice, as you must have many choices of types of wood to use for fragrant tasty eats !! Oh, how I envy you! 👍👍👍
Man you need one of those collapsible wagon typ thingy's that they make so that you can pull your equipment around in and not have to make so many trips. Hopefully you'll be ab to fish those streams, or creeks. That's where the best tasting fish come from, imo! Sure is beautiful up there. Thanks for sharing and take care. Oh yeah, when are we going to see some more cooking? 😊
so many shots look like something you'd see on a postcard - the meadows, the rushing rivers, that scenic lake. looks like an amazing place (when there's no one there lol!)
Maybe it is just me but after watching your videos and meeting you at RTR I must say you are sounding happier than I have ever noticed. Good for you , we are very happy for you
Another awesome video! Can’t wait for you to start relaxing and videotape a catch and cook video. You’re such a gourmet God bless you love from Fort Collins, Colorado.
Heck yeah Mike and Twyla! Get on with your badselves. Thanks to them and thanks to you Brian for all you do to make camping an awesome experience for all! 👍✌
Those flowers are spectacular, no wonder there are so many bugs. My poor dog would be terrified, I had to add bug screens to the minivan in an attempt to get air with no flies. That is some beautiful land 🙏🙏❣️
Well, you did it again wonderful video. I really enjoy watching your videos. I learned a lot from you and sounds like you’re a good person. You’re doing a great job on them campgrounds just wanna say thank you for everything that you do out there until we meet out there and have some coffee. Enjoy yourself and take care and be careful.
Hey bud, the company you work for is really lucky to have such a responsible hard-working camp host. I haven't seen you since quartzsite fears back next time I'm passing through Colorado I'll definitely stop in to say Hi. Some perfect campsites for my little teardrop trailer. Stay safe Robert
Brian, what an absolutely beautiful place to be! 😁👍 I enjoyed seeing the other campgrounds in the area. I hope you get to enjoy yourself a bit more. Take care❣️
LOVE LOVE LOVE the before and after transformations Brian. Thanks for sharing them with us. You’re great at the landscaping! Enjoy your time out there in that beautiful country!!
I hope you're taking a swim in the lake after all that work! That's great that subscriber's have visited and brought food! I wish I could! Enjoy your fishing and hiking! How many bears have you seen?
You mentioned you should have brought along a fishing rod... You might want to pick up an inexpensive collapsible tenkara rod. Ultimate in simplicity - just a rod, a 12' to 15' line, a little tippet or leader, and a few tenkara flies. No reel or other gear is needed and besides the rod your entire fishing pack could fit in a shirt pocket. My go-to tenkara rod is 9' long, collapses to 14-1/2" and weighs just under 1.5 ounces. I keep all my tenkara gear (lines, tippet, flies) in a little 4" x 6" tactical pouch. I hand-built my lines and tied my own flies. For less than $60 you could be all set up for those wonderful opportunities when they pop up.
Stay there forever and become the most incredible camp host; it will be yours. You will be camp Master. This place is for you. You deserve it. Keep that job all year, snow and all. This is it.
There is a spark catcher thing on the exhaust on these weed eaters. Happened to me. Restricts the exit flow. Boggs the weed eater down. Very simple to take off. I think flat head screw driver. Blow torch to burn off the gunk. Install back. Like brand new! Some people take them off too. Cheers
