what I like about the post-credit scene here is the fact that for the first time in the bay-verse, we FINALLY GET TO SEE THE MAIN 4 DECEPTICONS TOGETHER.

Fun fact: Shockwave is one of the only decepticons Optimus is actually afraid of. He's said in his own words that his psychopathic personality and intelligence makes him fear shockwave. Combined with his deceptively large strength, you have one incredibly dangerous transformer
Yeah and also don't forget his scary speed, he's even bigger than tf2 megatron and is even stronger than him, has bigger and most likely heavier body too but he moves like tf1 megs if not even faster, now that is something you should be affraid of, we have seen what he's capable of, nothing is impossible for him, he even has created a being who went toe to toe against unicron

Even Megatron himself fears Shockwave which really speaks volumes as to how powerful Shockwave really is. A cold, calculating, hyper intelligent, sadistic killer that operates purely on logic.
Even Megatron himself knows that if Shockwave decided that taking him out and usurping his position as leader of the Decepticons was the logical thing to do he would be in real trouble.
Fun fact, shockwave was optimus friend before he re constructed his body into the ultimate logic loving assasin

How the hell was Shockwave more challenging here than he ever was in the movie?
Short answer: Because Michael Bay
Long Answer: Because after the first movie Michael Bay and his team were too focused on creating and cramming as many robot characters in as possible with no real consideration to what purpose they would serve. They shoved so many ideas (including Brains, the Wreckers, Que, Dino, the Driller, Shockwave, Soundwave, Lazerbeak, the Dreads, Sentinel Prime, the Decepticon armada etc) that almost none of them were fleshed out or had any meaningful impact or presence because animating them would cost too much of the budget, so in the end, they get completely unsatisfying (or non-existent) death scenes where they lose 99% of their brain-power for the sake of driving the "plot" forward as cheaply as possible.

Because after their first fight here, optimus adapted to shockwave skills but decided to took advantage of shockwave being ambushed by nest, another reason is that this is not the real shockwave but a clone just like the driller, shockwave isn't dumb to put himself in danger of being destroyed in body combat, he created clones of himself to obtain knowledge of other worlds or planets like a classic cold and logical machine, he send his clone on soviet union time then he let his clone there as a failsafe to save decepticons ass in case megatron and starscream fail to destroy the autobots again, not even to mention that shockwave clone adventure to earth granted us two things, the first was chernobyl accident and the second was nuclear energy resulted by energon experimented by inconsequent humans messing up with a component they do not understand and don't know how to manufacture it or keep it under control
It's so sad that this game never got a complete story, as in Follows up to the movie and you play the movie.

Optimus flat out sounding worried about finding shockwave, and ratchet telling him to get out of the cave isn’t a coincidence, shockwave is a powerful character, he isn’t a weakling in a lab coat. There has literally been comics of Shockwave taking over the decepticons.
@@Lu1zF3l1pe also no show portrayed him this way???? In Transformers Prime he took on Bulkhead, Wheeljack, arcee and bumblebee at once, went head to head with ultra Magnus, and invented several accessories for the decepticons. This is one example.

Shockwave joins Megatron, Starscream and Soundwave from Transformers Dark of the Moon Game.

I wished that Age of Extinction would've been the fourth Game. If you play the opening scene, you would get to the part where You're Optimus prime and You have to fight both Megatron and Sentinel Prime. You Kill them Both thereby preventing the Decepticons from using the pillars to bring back Cybertron. And the game continues with Humans beginning to Hunt down Both Autobots and Decepticons, in which Lockdown makes his debut in the Hunt for Optimus Prime. You then have Cade Yeager who's caught in the situation, helps Optimus Prime find out why Everyone is hunting Optimus Prime. Then while you continue playing the Game, you get Optimus Prime's new vehicle mode and Robot mode like in the movie and you meet up with Crosshairs, Drift, Hound, and Bumblebee. The game reaches a climax when you fight against Megatron who's been reborn as Galvatron. You fight against his army of Decepticons who can micro transform due to Their creation by Transformium. Not only that, you go to The escape ship after using it to rescue Optimus from Lockdown to bring Grimlock and the Dinobots to Battle. The game will conclude with a boss battle against Lockdown and the Game ends with Optimus Prime going to confront Quintessa.

This whole game was a prequel movie type deal, to explain the movie's whole plot on how shockwave became, the past movies are short for some odd reason, but like I said, tf3's game is a prequel to the actual movie.

True. To be honest, they should have allowed you to play as a lot of different Autobots and Decepticons. But this story is extremely rushed and too short anyways to play a bunch of different characters.

Prequel logic, shockwave was first seen in the movie, at the beginning, fight prime and nest soldiers, luckily prime made shockwave flee before it was too late for him.

I love them because you've got pretty badass gaming skills, but I hate them because you shut the damn music off nearly every single game. The ending cutscene of Optimus Vs. Shockwave just isn't the same without the music in the background!
